Neither Holley or StangTV knew what was needed to install it properly. I did the homework for them. That's why dates are pushed, things are changed, and all is mentioned in the article. Heck Holley techs still tell people it hasn't been tested yet on a 15. The amount of work that I had to do to find out what was needed to fit took weeks by itself to even doing the article. The parts that were needed took Holley off guard. They even pushed back their 3v version because they had to re-do it based on the data I gave to them.

Once it's out and you swap out the proper parts, the end result will be awesome.

I can even state I looked at those same fittings and ordered them just to find out they will not work. It sucks. I know. Trust me. I would HAVE NEVER made this thread if I knew it was going to be pushed back this long.

It might be worthwhile for UPR to build an install kit with all the parts necessary and an install doc prior to launch to sell alongside the intake. I think it would be a homerun for you guys.

Thanks for the info. Based off of your experience did Holley change something to accommodate easier install?

So one question and I will be specific.

Does it require a new fuel line from the tank to work?

If you have a fore fuel set up it works with that with no modifications iirc

Still on stock system. Wasn't planning on installing a $1500.00 fuel system to lessen some boost through a manifold.

Kind of negates bang for buck.

Every company that is involved will be listed on where to get it. Even parts from us. This is a joint install to make it work properly.

I would deff say easier but again, it was not designed for the car.Just the engine. Their will be fuel parts needed to make this work. All I can say for now.

I will end with this. As soon as the article is posted, I will be explaining everything in more detail

That all being said Steve, do you think you will have a package with all the necessary parts once it's all said and done? If it is worth it, I will be ordering from you.

P.S love your guy's catch cans. I replaced my JLT with yours and its deffinately collecting more oil. I was a skeptic at first but after wher I poured out of it, there is no comparison.

I still do not get why the fitting I listed would not work.

If it converts the returnless fuel system from quick disconnect 3/8" to 8AN everything else is hoses and fittings unless Holley went and did something dumb but they list the rails as

"EFI Intakes include 3/8" Fuel rail kits (Sniper logo laser engraved)"

which would also work with a 3/8" to 8AN adaptor on the rails.

I am failing to see how adapting the stock fuel system into the rails is so mysterious or wrong as I am thinking it would be.

Asking UPR anything about this is like asking Hilary Clinton about Benghazi

I can understand he has his hands tied by the release.

With regards to the parts needed , if you make a kit consisting of ALL parts required you definitely will get more sales. Bottom line this is about money so it doesn't even make sense not to do that vs making everyone buy parts a bits from various vendors.

I'm predicting 10-25 lbs torque loss below 4K and peak hp gain of 35 hp at the top end. Manifolds aren't magic components that make more of everything across the board. If you're expecting gains everywhere just google "supercharger".

Can't even recall the last time I picked up a magazine. After years of spending hours at chapters and even the library reading old issues way back in the day. It's a shame the had to go this route and wait for an article. They would've made more money posting it here on 6g or even in a YouTube video.
