got that all sorted, it was comparing a first tune file to a revised version (i was unaware at the time) but after reviewing available data in hp tuners the 2016 f series manifold does have a marginally larger (than the gt350 i currently have installed) manifold volume under the transient tab, I'm fairly certain that the small difference in HP is attributable to the longer runners, but of note the f-150 runs 10.5 to 1 vs the mustangs 11 to 1 compression, I honestly dont think porting is needed

I will be acquiring one of these for testing, waiting on ol longbow to wake back up (as stated he's in the middleeast right now) and confirm he wants to purchase this and get the ball rolling

I'm very curious what it makes although I'm thinking it's going to make the top end lower than stock at 6000 and beyond.

I'm curious as well, it looks to have much longer runners than the oem manifold, with a slightly larger plenum, hopefully it turns out to be a hidden gem that will probably emberass current offerings in the tq department but still put out descent hp numbers, only the dyno will tell......I will dyno this manifold against my current gt350 setup...taking it to the same rpm as well (7800-8k)

I dont expect the hp to be near what i currently have but an additional 20-30 lb/ft with a 15 to 20 hp loss at peak vs the 350 with staggering losses at 6500+

It looks just like the GT350 manifold to me just much longer runners. Will likely be good for those who like to short shift their cars.

This may actually be the perfect intake for guys with a Centri, or turbo system. Loads of punch down low, and the air snails can overcome most of the top end shortfalls.

sandeale has one on order to check fitment and hope fully get some dyno numbers, Truck vs Mustang vs Gt350. Would be interesting to see how they stack up against each other on a better performing engine and optimized tune.
