Agreed. The GT-R is a science fiction car.

Because racecar.
The GT-R would no be out of place on Earth scenes in a Star-Trek movie.

The GT-R in my opinion is a display of engineering supremacy and nothing more. That car has so many wizard spells that magically enhance the driver in almost every way, it has almost taken the "driver" out of the equation.

I might possibly be the only one who would say this, but the "driver" in me says no thanks.

They are said to be quite intense to drive all out on track given the absolute speed. But on the street they are a bit dull.

Believe me, you are nowhere NEAR the only person to feel that way. I respect what Godzilla is capable of, but I just can't drive a computer on four wheels. Give me an engine, a manual tranny, RWD, and no computer interaction and I'll be happy. Unless it's a Toyoburu. They just down right screwed that car up.

Continuing the seat topic, the new standard seats look A LOT nicer than the current standard offering. Looks like much better bolstering.
Can't wait to try them out. If they are good enough I might go with these over the Recaros. Though I did love the Recaros in my '11.
I learned with my Speed what happens when you have all-leather seats and you go around turns quickly. Bolstering is nice, but I think cloth inserts would help grip a little.

Or... sticky clothes.

No manual is what kills me. Yes, I know no human can shift fast enough for the motor. I don't care.

I didn't like the BRZ enough to buy one -- felt cheap/chintzy, and I really don't like how it looks. But for me, it was second only to my Fox in fun factor and drive-ability. It definitely needs more power though.

I just want 300 hp from an NA motor in that thing. I know they're going to turbo it, though.

Yep, that was a great color. I wonder how close Magnetic is to that... it seems it may have the same undertones.
