  1. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

Ok, lol. Two of the cars are 4-door sedans, three are compact sports cars with half the power, one is a compact 4-door hot-hatch, and one is a 2-seater convertible. Only three of those cars are in, or close to the same class. You are honestly going to argue those cars are all similar beyond...
  2. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

Why only price? Because you are comparing the GT to a M2 which starts at $58,xxx vs the GT's $32,xxx, and saying if BMW can get size/weight down, so can Ford. Have you seen how a tightly a 3600lb. M2 is packaged? You pay for that technology up front, you pay with cost of ownership, and you...
  3. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

The Mustang and M2 are in a completely different class. And there is a reason the M2's starting price is $23,000 more than a GT -- you pay to have the technology that allows you to down-size, light-weight, and package the car like a sardine can. The BRZ/FRS has 1/2 the trunk space of a GT...
  4. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

I wouldn't either. I think the Mustang would sell about as good as the FRS if the made it 5" narrower and 18" shorter, which is not very. I think SN95/New Edge would be a good size for most people -- right in between a S550 and a Fox.
  5. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

18"?! That would make it 10" shorter than a Fox, and 11" shorter than a 1st Gen. Hell, it would be 5" shorter than a Mustang II, and only 3" longer than a Subaru FRS with its little flat-4. I think everyone wants the Mustang to be somewhat smaller, but that is completely unrealistic -- a...
  6. Mustang hybrid to be built in Michigan, Mustang inspired crossover in Mexico

LOL. Who told you that? Our grid can handle EV saturation over 20% w/out upgrades, and it will take a long time for us to get there. And that is not taking into consideration the potential for EVs to "give back" to the grid. Americas "grid" wasn't up to par for a LOT of things in our...
  7. 6R80 VALVEBODY FOR 2015 MUSTANG GT

I know it's a long shot, but do you still have this?
  8. Am I the only who is disappointed?

I didn't say they shouldn't bring it to market... I also wasn't talking about the Aventador, it's life-cycle that is nearing its end, or how its differentiation is between sub-models/trims because it is a one generation car. Once the Aventador is done, there won't be another one. HUGE...
  9. Am I the only who is disappointed?

It's a huge disappointment to me too because it looks exactly like what it should... ...a car that SHOULD have came out in 2017. A DCT and HP bump over the ZL1, which is entering its 3rd model year, doesn't make for much excitement. That being said, the deal breaker for me is we are well...
  10. Leaked GT500 Pics and specs from dealer meeting today!

I agree, it doesn't look identical — it looks like a more aggressive GT350, with a design dating back to 2014/2015. Regardless, we are 2 model years into a refreshed car. I understand the fact they are using the prior front styling is welcome for some, but by itself, is definitely disappointing...
  11. Leaked GT500 Pics and specs from dealer meeting today!

Man Ford is on a slide... This car that will likely be $70k or more — and it's now confirmed we get something with an updated GT350 front end from 2015, and a 2011-2014 SRT Charger look-a-like grill... 2 model years into the refreshed S550. It looks like it is straight out of 2015...
  12. 2019 Shelby GT Mustang Revealed At Woodward!

The terrible bubble hood, the plastic junk tacked on the fascia, the minimal performance upgrades at that premium price -- looks like every other Shelby I will never see in person, on the road or at shows... thankfully. Just like every other Shelby America product, you pay a premium for a car...
  13. 2019 GT500 Mustang New Spy Video, Pics, Info

My God the 2019 Camaro tail-lights are horrendous.
  14. 2019 GT500 Mustang New Spy Video, Pics, Info

Maybe Ford is just getting back at GM for using a 15-17 Mustang look-a-like hood on the Camaro refresh?
  15. Ford Axing all cars except Mustang and Focus Active Crossover in North America

Old indeed, but proves the point -- and it is even more alarming when you consider the guy has not only survived that long in the company at all, but has actually advanced. In reality, what is happening with Ford right now is nothing new... in my opinion the writing was on the wall when...
  16. Ford Axing all cars except Mustang and Focus Active Crossover in North America

If Farley is actually ALLOWED to go on being that unhinged, the company has much bigger problems than the decision to axe cars/sedans. That paints a rather bleak outlook for the future of the company in general.
  17. 2020 GT500 Mustang Caught Testing Uncovered For The First Time

And that is disappointing. Flagship car, and they can't even put the 18+ headlights on it... Granted, a lot of folks don't like things about the front of the '18+, myself included, however it seems most of the issues are with the bottom half of the fascia. Using what will be a 6 year old...
  18. 18 MY Saleen front end unveiled

The quality/fit/finish look like SHIT! And, really, they couldn't even make matching upper and lower grills? Regarding the style, none of the lines even remotely match the rest of the car at all -- looks like it is an eBay special for a Civic from 2004. How can Saleen still be in business?
  19. So this happened today...

If you signal and move completely out of the traffic flow, you surrender any right of way you had to those who are still in the traffic flow, and there are zero laws that say you need to yield to a civilian vehicle under these circumstances. If the SUV was still in, or partially in the...
  20. So this happened today...

So you are saying, when the driver signaled right and moved out of the lane, from a legal perspective the OP should have stopped in the middle of lane/intersection and waited for her to do the opposite of what her signal indicated, instead of proceeding straight in his lane, that was now clear...
