First video(comparison starts at 3:10) is a before and after of the 3”AWE Track edition cat back only, and then the 3” AWE track edition cat back paired with Kooks 1 7/8” long tubes. The second video is a cold start with kooks 1 7/8” paired with the AWE track edition catback.

Has anyone moved away from the Steeda H-Pipe and Steeda aggressive axle-back? I have a handful of people that say the car sounds amazing, and to leave it, but more people say it’s just too loud.

I’m on the hunt for a different axle-back I think.

I had the Steeda Agressive Axle backs with my Borla Switchfire. It was way to loud and to be frank the tone really broke up to a mess of an exhaust note. At half throttle it sounded nice, but at WOT it was a mess. I moved on to the Ford Racing by Borla Sport. Much better but still pretty aggressive. I think with the OEM suitcase the Steedas sound great. Its when paried without any resonators it gets obnoxious.

Question for you guys, I have a stock Mach 1 auto and am considering doing Kooks catted headers. Do you think it would be too loud if in addition to the catted headers, I also did an X-pipe as well? Thanks for the feedback.

In all honesty. When I was with the stock catback with catless lth's it wasn't bad in quiet mode. Normal-track mode is pretty wild. Granted I had a regular GT and not a Mach 1. But I'd imagine quiet mode and normal - track mode is still livable. Considering it is the catted headers, it shouldn't be bad at all.
