Coyote Exhaust Note

As you guys may have noticed, the gen 1 coyote in the s197s sounds much different than the gen 2 coyote in the s550. I know they changed some stuff with the cams and some of the materials, but I can’t imagine that those things would change the sound that drastically. The gen 1 has such a deeper growl and sounds more like a muscle car. Can anybody tell me why that is?

All cars depending on mods will have a different exhaust note but I can tell you I ran next to an s197 and they seemed to be singing in tune. Quite lovely to be honest.

I for one will say the exhaust note on my 17 gt prom is absolutely awesome. I put an slip loudmouth II on and gave it just what I wanted. I have been a gm guy my whole life, just sold my c5 convertible, and I just love the one of a kind sound. This car is unreal and the tone even better. Thanks ford

Is it stock?
My 2017 GT is 100% stock and sounds like it is castrated. I know Ford had to tone down the volume to comply with regulations, but it is almost like the exhaust team wanted it to sound more like a V8 Lexus than a muscle car.

I had LTs + Corsas on my 2009 Shelby and it woke up the dead. My neighbors hated me

I've owned 2 Coyotes and 6 different exhaust setups, the GT 500 OEM quads without resonators on my 2014 is the best sound so far.

That would actually be an upgrade for us. The Lexus 5.0 sounds better than ours.

Waiting to see if we can retrofit the MY18 exhaust system to our cars.

I have kooks catted LT's with corsa sport catback and it sounds good. But not near as good as ARH full system. That system sounds amazing IMO. I've heard those gt500 quads and that is definitely a great sound for these cars as well.

Stainlessworks catback will give you the deepest tone/growl I've heard for our cars.
