I’m running a G2 kit with the 120mm pulley and it would break the PP1 tires loose at 70mph WOT. It wasn’t unmanageable but still sketch.I wounldnt even bother with forced induction if you are going to run street tires. It wont even be fun to drive. Even with drag radials it spins to the point of aborting street hits.
Just my opinion.
Are any of you guys experiencing false knock with these units? I know false knock can be an issue with other kits.
Not bigger intercooler. Basically the bottom end package for me. Should be great still, and way more power than street tires can hold.Doubt you’ll hate it. You’ll be the first if you do.
Congratulations.
Did u go for bigger inter cooler ? Suppose for street the standard is more than enough ?
Im on the fence waiting for our stupid currency to recover and then place my Order.
Same as you I only need a G2.
I guess instead of spending extra on g3 , do a water meth and turn up the boost. Much better returns for same money
My car made 740 and went 9.9@142 in June.I’m running a G2 kit with the 120mm pulley and it would break the PP1 tires loose at 70mph WOT. It wasn’t unmanageable but still sketch.
I haven’t had any issues so far with 275mm Nitto NT555RII outside of first gear though, what power are you putting down that DRs are spinning?
125mm = ~7 psi@Brevin@ESS
Do you have PSI values for the following configurations? Thanks.
G2 with 125mm pulley
G3 with 125mm pulley
G2 with 120mm pulley
G3 with 120mm pulley
Straight cut gears can cause this. Are any of you guys experiencing false knock with these units? I know false knock can be an issue with other kits.
That spot is vacant, no missing bolt there.Anyone had any screws on the compressor housing back out? I’m randomly missing one.
Can confirm, I don't have it on mine eitherThat spot is vacant, no missing bolt there.
Ahh ok, good to know. Never noticed it until recentlyThat spot is vacant, no missing bolt there.
The pp1 tires (ps4s) can barely hook NA power let alone boosted. The 555r2 are a great option as they are a DR that can hook power but handles street / dd duties very well, even rain.I’m running a G2 kit with the 120mm pulley and it would break the PP1 tires loose at 70mph WOT.
