The way i did it was to mount the brackets, then place the cluster where I wanted it. (Pushed all the way in and held) and then I marked the hole location thru the cluster tabs on the bracket with a sharpy and drilled a pilot hole to guide the self-tapping screw in.
I'd like to report that thanks to @okfoz (and @Ferrcad for the link to the post), I've been able to build brackets for my 2017 GT and the digital dash is now 100% silent and secure.
Here is the parts list from Menards that I used:

Yep. Those stock lines with the UPR kit are not fuel and oil rated. They look like multipurpose air lines from what i can find. Oil vapor seeps right thru in no time.

The car ran like stupid with boostane. like a whole different animal. Made it a fuel issue. I've since found a single...
So what actually happened, do you know? that car looks like it rolled at least a few times? it's crunched all over. Amazing that you survived and were typing to us the next morning.
my zfold4 BT connection sucks if it's not like in my lap when datalogging. When flashing, i literally put it in the floorboard of the driver's seat to make sure it works.
My s21 never had this issue and would work at normal BT distance with zero issue.
and that's after multiple firmware and...
the blower install isn't that big of a deal because you aren't dealing with most of those hoses and wires, unless you are doing a fuel system upgrade as well...
