Yeah, it's big $$$. From what I was told, they've revised the baffles. Not recommended to use a true 302S/302R pan.

Probably unneeded in your case. I am hoping for one for the extra oil capacity and safety net during long sweepers.
Cheap compared to a starved motor

Definitely with an oil accumulator plus the GT500 oil pan you will have multiple safeties in place. I like it!

Just hung up the phone with someone at Ford and he claimed the only difference between the R and Non-R engine is the cam drive & phaser and the timing chain. That's all i know.

He is a nut job. It is evident in his videos. It's kind of funny how such a great race car driver somehow figures out a way to spin out on an entry level race course driving a car in sport mode.

I guess you didn't see his big track attack mecca video.

Oh well. Classic guy with lots of money and no common sense. It's evident by the idiots around him.
i know this thread is old but the guy is a fud. And i mean that, he’s always crying about how his Gt350s keep blowing up while beating and i mean beating the living crap out of them. And to only then go by another to cry some more

Just ran through this entire thread. My car is missing the ID tag on the valve cover. It was pulled off. The car came with 30k miles on it. Does anyone know where/if the VIN or any other codes are stamped or etched into the block or heads that can identify my engines origin? 2016 GT350R

Only thing I can say is on Drivers side rear engine block is where the vin is stamped. If the engine vin matches your cars vin then it's the original engine. If it dosent it has been replaced.

Underneath the car, drivers side, back of the engine.

@passwords @sox3 Thanks gents. Found it. Matches my VIN. Original engine. I'm happy about that as the car was a Ford fleet test vehicle.

I do notice @passwords is a lot cleaner than mine. I guess that's what 25k miles in Detroit over 5 years does.
