Hey guys,
I have a 2019 gt with a edelbrock stage 2 kit I have my intercooler fluid going into a whipple tank and then to the pump and heat exchanger. Doing this because I have a killer chiller setup. My pump will randomly not move fluid though and I have to fill fluid in the reservoir. When the car is in key on only you can hear the pump humming but no circulation in the system. When you start the engine after a cycle it will start working again. Any ideas what this is? Was thing about just swapping to a vmp upgraded pump kit if they work with our system? Any advise would be greatly appreciated
Can you post a picture or diagram of how it is setup

I’m pretty sure the pump is on the driver side now and the whipple tank is vertical not have a pic though. Is our pump the same as the vmp upgraded pump or is the vmp really flow 30% more?

Hello.

My Edelbrock heat exchanger bottle/ reservoir has started leaking around the neck. Somewhere on these pages there was a fix but I can't seem to find it.

Not sure if it's the bottle or the lid.

I've tried removing some of the coolant to allow for expansion with no help.

I'm trying to get onto Edelbrock but having trouble. I'm located in Australia.

Any advice is appreciated...

You can use a hose clamp on the cap as a temporary fix. Tighten the clamp then install the cap, tightening the clamp a quarter turn at a time and re check until it fits snug on the bottle. I did that for a bit and it worked well.
There is an aluminum version that was designed by another member that I am testing out right now. I can post pics when I permission from @illtal.

You have the bracket so it doesn't hit the washer bottle?

Mine hasn’t leaked since install >12 months ago.
Im not about to take the cap off to check, but wouldn’t it be easy enough to fit an o-ring into the lid to stop the leak?

Yes, I figured out that you can unbolt the bracket from the washer bottle and flip it to get the fit right. Might take some minor adjustments to get it right.

On mine the neck isn't even round. I got the cap to stop leaking by using a hose clamp on it though. Just looks like crap that way.

The hoses seal well on those 'welded' barbs?

Post them if you like. I am currently in the ICU. I'm having an infection cleaned up.

You have too much fluid in that surge tank just remove some fluid the leak should stop. The pressure from the expansion of the coolant is forcing it out. If it is leaking with no pressure you will need to get anew bottle

I did have a very small one at first then I switched to a narrower rolled edge worm clamp.

Here are the pictures I took of the install.

I'm feeling kind of dumb... I can't tell where the bracket that you flipped around is in the pics... And I suppose this means the bumper cover has to come off... Again.
