Same thing happened to me and my Mach. E85 tune fun lasts for a few months until you just want more and more. I'm still happy on my 120 pulley now, but already thinking about more again...I had an E85 tune for a while and LOVED it... then went ESS.
I also did the same, probably within 4 months of going e85.I had an E85 tune for a while and LOVED it... then went ESS.

E85 was great but being boosted is definitely more fun. Although I do miss the good smell and the clean exhaust tips!I also did the same, probably within 4 months of going e85.
Yep, even my wife liked the smell, I just need to convince her that I need a full fuel system to run E85 with the blower.E85 was great but being boosted is definitely more fun. Although I do miss the good smell and the clean exhaust tips!
yep, I keep thinking the same thing, for just 3K more…Yep, even my wife liked the smell, I just need to convince her that I need a full fuel system to run E85 with the blower.

The 1500 kit is still $2,000+ and your tuner needs to support it
I'm not boosted. I'm just offering alternatives. I'm definitely not trying to start a debate. I believe Rob and Wengerd will tune this set-up. I don't think Lund will. I will say it's definitely less work. @KPM Fuel Systems can answer questions. @DougS550 has a Whipple KPM. Maybe he can chime in.The 1500 kit is still $2,000+ and your tuner needs to support it
How much did you make with the 1000 on e?
My KPM 1500 with PWM fuel controller runs flawless since install. When I select minimum boost of around 3lbs starts, idles, drives, and WOT perfect, zero issues. When I turn my boost controller to 15lbs, perfect. Engine made like 1105hp at 15lbs. The only limiting factor was at that power level with 100% stock internals my oil analysis showed metal wear did go up a slightly compared to when I had oil analysis done at 11lbs. FYI. David (Owner KPM) did tell me I was making out the 1500 and highly recommended to upgrade to the 2200 kit. But,Wengerdsaid at 1105hp ALL of my data lines were good, he seen no issue. I think he said my 1000xp injector duty cycle was like 65 really good.I'm not boosted. I'm just offering alternatives. I'm definitely not trying to start a debate.
