I am running the DW400 and a Vortech BAP on my 2018 D1x mustang on e85. It is at max capacity with ID1050x injectors at fairly low boost. I’m probably making 750 - 800 at the wheels. I would say if your running pump or race gas this is a good set up but it has its limits. I am stepping up to a Fore level 2 in anticipation of turning up the boost.
True talk here.
I also run the pump with a JMS BAP /ID1050x on my 18 with Gen 5 whipple .
With the 3.625 pulley (12-13 psi) it made 830 whp on E85 but I think the pump is maxed out above 7600.
It made 850 whp on race gas and 3.5 pulley with plenty of headroom so that’s what I will be running till I can do a return fuel system .
For the return I am probably going with 2 walbro pumps in a radium hat or 2 DW400 pumps in a GT 350 hat (since I already have the pumps/hats ) and custom JN2uning system deducting the cost of the pumps /hats.
Ken Bjonnes at Palm beach Dyno is saying that he expects Injector Dynamics to release the ID600-7 brushless fuel pump soon. It flows 600+ lph at 100 PSI. It's been in R&D for over 4 years. It's a little shorter and fatter than the stock pump so you will have to modify the stock hat for it to fit. I'm holding off on my E85 conversion till spring. We'll see what happens.
