Since when does whipple not included the pumps?
Not that I am in the market but the information had not changed on their website or if you go to order the kit from any of the usual vendors.

Even with check valve you will lose your fuel pressure after sitting over night. The fuel still bleeds down past the regulator.I did not use a check valve and had no starting issues over the summer.

Which blower are you using?

Thanks again guys.
I reached out to vendor(I am not sure he can be named ) as recommended and he has been super helpful. He is putting together a kit for me and will deduct the cost of the GT 350 fuel assembly since I will be modifying mine. I will be swapping the stock pumps for dual DW400's. I happen to have a couple of "spares" I bought when I thought the one in my 18 had died as could not get the car to start. Turns out it was the battery, lol

I think I will also hit him up when I decide to go return on my 18/whipple . I am currently running a BAP with the DW400 included with the stage 2 kit and I think I am on the edge with the car making 830 whp(3.625 pulley) on E85/ID 1050x. It was starting to go lean after 7600. I will probably just run race gas till then. I think it will make similar power with MS109 tune as the timing is about the same , I could even pulley down to a 3.5 pulley with race gas for now(and have enough fuel for E85 once I go return)…. and will be able to reuse the DW400 in the GT 350 hat(No waste or having to sell used parts for peanuts lol)
Heck I could even reuse the BAP on the pumps if I needed. LOL

I have a DW400 and a D1x on my 18 and don’t have starting problems either.

Dw can fit your DW400’s with internal check valves.

They also sell DW400’s with check valves now.

Nice to know that . I assume you will have to call them .
Was there any advantage to not having a check valve ?

I think I will keep the flow .
You can prime the pumps by pressing/cycling the start button 2-3 times before you start the car.
Seems to help

I think just unlocking/opening the door primes the fuel pump once already.

Dw says an external check even at -6 or -8 will decrease flow by 3-5%
