From what I’m reading the 18&up timing gear is already a forged piece, which would mean only the opg’s need to be replaced. Is this correct?

I went a head and ordered a set of boundary opg’s. I’m hoping to have them by the weekend so I can install them. I did not order a timing gear. Everything I’ve read says that 18&up uses a forged piece.

Crank sprocket being forged isn't necessarily the issue. The OEM unit does not have alot of material around the keyway. Aftermarket units are thicker in that area.

I see. I’m kind of on the fence with the tg. On one hand I’m already going to be in there. I just hate the thought of replacing something that may not need to be replaced. Especially if the factory piece is Already much stronger than the 15-17 units

Same exact system I had/have. ID1050x here. I was running the SaiLi kit with my P1SC-1 and no problems. Moved up to the D1X and she was running out of fuel around 7200rpm. Ended up selling the SaiLi kit and went with a Fore system. Make sure you tell your tuner this to look for fuel at high end. Might not be an issue with the 18+s

What pulley/boost are you running. I’m planning on adding a second feed to the port injection rail as it is fed by one small piece of tubing coming off the Di feed. Hopefully that helps out. I guess I’ll find out. Hoping to get it tuned next weekend. This weekend I’ll be doing the opg’s. Then I just have a couple of little things to button up.

Running the 4.5 pulley and seeing 14-15 psi
I’m also running the 4.5 pulley but the gen3 lower pulley is a little bit smaller , so I’m thinking I might see 1-2 psi less

If you plan to run the stock fuel rail, you MUST add a second port injector feed. My port rail pressure was dropping to the low 30s on only 4 psi boost. I added a second port and now the FPR adds fuel pressure and no more issues.

The sai li system will be fine to 800whp. I run the same system an made 913 on 12 psi.

BTW.......... I thought you were going turbo? What happened?

let me tell you from experience, get rid of the pc OEM belt and go with the gates green belt, especially if live in a cold climate area. The owners manual even tells you that if you break the OEM belt replace it with the gates green belt.

my tuner is concerned that even with modifying the stock rail it won’t Be enough, but I think I want to try it just to satisfy my own curiosity. Also it’s like 500 bucks for the fore rails.

I was building a tt kit but I quickly became disenchanted with it. It’s kind of a long story and one I don’t want to get into on a public forum. Anyway I think the procharger will serve me well
