I'm thinking that the mods want him to pony up and pay for advertising now that he is selling something here. The thread he started where I found these for sale appears to be gone now too. I got my set last week, and it may sound like an oxymoron, but I'm going to wait until the weather cools down before I jump into this mod.
FYI: I did notice a significant improvement on the seat cooling (backs and bottom) after I ran my shop vac over them.
No, there was a much more extensive posting showing where to cut the seat foam for the 3/4" hoses to pass through.

Yes I've done my drivers seat. I haven't had a chance to do the passenger seat yet. It makes the back of the seat much cooler although it still doesn't blow air out like the bottoms.

Hey if it makes the back of the seat cool instead of hot, I'll be satisfied. I have mine, just waiting for some new Katzkins and a few free days to do both projects at the same time.

F-150 Cooling Seat Info
Myself (AZPLATINUMEB on F-150 site) and the guy that developed the F-150 fix for “Cooling Seats” worked together directly with the Ford Seat Complete Team getting them to develop the TSB that is now in TSB and production versions for ALL Ford “cooling” seats.
Long story as to HOW we got to work directly with Ford Engineering, but we actually had installs on our vehicles by the Ford Engineers at our local dealers…… we were the FIRST to have the TSBs in both the field and production form. We even got a “Thank You” email from Mark Fields (President & CEO of Ford). The TSB was then released over time to various Ford platforms.
Although we were only able to get them to address the INTAKE side (which did remove most of the “hot spot”), the exhaust was not removed from the seat cavity…. leaving a lot on the table in terms of extracting more efficient cooling from the TED design….
The solution developed was actually almost like the pre-2015 seats in design and performance… utilizing ducting for both intake and exhaust for both the “pre-TSB” and post-TSB versions. Since Ford changed the TEDS as part of the TSB (adding the intake “sock” and a new TED only with a different intake port) it demanded two different kits (pre and post TSB), depending on vehicle configuration.
I am NOT in any way financially tied to this solution but I am trying to get the word out to other owners of Ford vehicles with “cooling” seats, in the same spirit we originally sought to give a voice to Ford Owners, especially those on various Forums. Note… we never got a dime or any financial consideration from Ford for all of our pro bono work with them!! We DID get tons of “Thanks” from fellow Forum members and that really kept us going.
I AM in contact with the developer and happen to know he would love to have a Beta Tester for Mustangs (pre and post TSB) from the Sioux Falls, SD metro area… so he could install and test them himself to ensure they DO apply to our ‘Stangs. Belief is that, without modification, these F-150 kits would work on 2015+ Mustangs, but need to validate that! Anyone interested can PM me and I will see that you get in contact.....
I have included a link to the F-150 Forum Thread below, and suggest that you look at these posts (in no particular order) if you want to catch up with what we did in the F-150 world to optimize the cooling from our seats…. 4,400+ posts and counting…..smile….

Yeh.... same experience in F-150ville.....seems the "sock" on the intake is prone to collapsing and, since the TSB only addressed the INTAKE side, nothing was being done to evacuate the hotter exhaust air from the seat cavity.... that is why a optimal fix includes both intake and exhaust ducting... like I referenced in my earlier post.
My analogy is setting a window air conditioner in the MIDDLE of a room vs. hanging it out a window to expel the hot exhaust from what you are trying to cool.....doomed to heat up and not cool efficiently!!
Glad to see that Darko66 is back amongst us... guess he had to get a Gold Sponsorship to be re-instated to the Forum!?

DropTop, please share your findings as I'm interested in seeing if Tim's F150 fix will fit inside our more compact seats. I wasted a ton of time trying to find a skinny enough hose to work before I gave in and went with the odd but effective 3 hose option.
My goal was to find as simple and inexpensive a solution as possible. What makes it work without an exhaust solution is that the intake hoses go to the cold air. I tried to explain this in a prior post but did so quite badly so I won't try again.
When Droid_Junky did his fix and said that the intake was the key, I doubted it as well. But it turns out he was on to something. As long as you feed the unit cold air it can overcome the exhaust issue.
However, that doesn't mean that adding some sort of exhaust solution won't help it. I've been working on a simpler version of my exhaust option, but due to some minor back issues (mine not the cars) haven't had a chance to test it installed inside the seats. My original exhaust required cutting a hole in the back of the seat, but I decided I'd try to simplify it. Unfortunately the only way to do that is to route the exhaust under the seat which I was trying to avoid. Doing so might somewhat impact the performance of the cushion cooler, but shouldn't hurt the back cooling.
My expectations are that the exhaust will only provide modest improvements over the intake alone and may not be worth it. It might allow the seat to get cooler a little faster and since the hot exhaust air won't be blowing right onto the hose that's going into the seat that air might be a bit colder. I will share once I have a chance to give it a go.
