No A/C breeze coming off my truck seats but they definitely cool the tush and back. During the summer, it was great.

I just got the TSB done yesterday and OMG it works. My back now cools all the way up to shoulders blades now. I ran them for 45 mins and they stayed cold. GET THIS DONE.

Finally had an opportunity to get the car in for this fix. I left on a work trip and wife dropped at dealer. They said one day no problem (ordered the parts for fix like 3 months ago, just been busy) She called at 5pm because hadn't heard from them. They told her the parts were incorrect and looked different so they were ordering in new parts in for tomorrow.

Well....isn't THAT the point..... The old parts were not working so putting in NEW parts.... So frustrating.

Better be fixed by the time I get home tomorrow. Going on a trip right away. Car will be coming with me new parts or not. Put together or not.....

Heading to father in laws to install a bunch of Christmas presents!

Exactly why no maintenance is done at the dealerships....

Anyone else have anything similar happen trying to get this taken care of?

I'd check to make sure they are getting the new part numbers listed in the TSB. Gotta double check on everyone these days it seems to ensure they can do their job.

I seemed to get a runaround about the seat and brake TSB. I think the SM forgot to order the parts. I did tell them to hold off on the seats after reading of the bad results. Dropping it off in the morning for the brake work though. What burns me up is they need the car all day for a job that takes less than or right at an hour to do.

UPDATE

I had the car parked in the sun on a recent warm day, and found that the cooling still doesn't work in the backs. They never got hot, but that only happened randomly, anyway. I am absolutely astonished that this product could go through two releases and still be wrong.

We've had some mid-70s weather in the San Francisco Bay Area recently. Used the seat coolers (TSB done last December) the other day and didn't notice much on the backs still ... but also didn't notice it getting hot, so a small improvement I guess.

I talked with Ford and car was in shop, they replaced the blower still same "no cooling". Ford tells me that's all they can do...SMH no it's not. I've contacted The BBB and they contacted ford, ford asked to send out a certified tech one last time and will pay one monthly payment. I will keep pressing them until it's fixed or compensate me for this problem

Thanks from all of us... I decided not to get my seats done until someone here lets us know the fix is working. Were there any issues with the dealer? I live in the Philly area too, and would like to know who to stay away from if there will be trouble.

The flipside is that on heat, the seat bottom roasts my nuts while the seat back does nothing to warm my sore back.
