I can’t figure out why my car beeps 3 times over and over. SRS light works fine. All doors and windows open and close fine. Seat belts work fine. No weight on passenger seat. CD not stuck in player.

Anyone have a suggestion? I can’t find anything even from searching the web.

Video of the sound it makes

Lol I thought you meant the horn until I watched the video..

Sorry I can't even begin to think what it is, do you have access to an OBD code reader?

Doesn't sound like anything related to the car. Are you sure someone didn't place a tracking device somewhere or dropped a watch under your seat?

Nothing coming up on my scan tool. I even checked my HP MPVI 2+ and nothing comes up. I don’t think it’s anything engine related.
Check the video I posted.

It sounds like it’s coming from the the Navi area. I thought there was a cd stuck but I just put one in and it played fine but continued beeping.

No tracking device in the car.

A couple of explanations are possible that I could think of.
Does the beeping happen at random or at specific times?

1. The original owner leased or financed the car. Dealers will install a tracking device in the passenger kick panel or under the scuff plate. Makes repossession easier.

2. Someone dropped a digital watch in your car somewhere. Could be the previous owner playing a prank on you. Or they unknowingly left it in the car someplace. Check the glove box and in behind it. Check the gap under the center stack on top of the transmission tunnel.

3. There is a telematics device connected to the ODB port for recording driving habits. For insurance or parental purposes.

No, that doesn't seem to be the same. That's the sort of high-pitched buzz that some electronic components generate unintentionally as a consequence of their normal operation.
This one is definitely a beep, produced by something that wants to beep.

Just to clarify, you're only hearing this when the ignition is is on, correct?

I say disconnect the battery, then you will know if it’s a car system or a foreign device (like a watch).

it sounds like something that the battery may be going dead in. I would say a tracking device.
