Yah I failed to post this but I pulled the trigger on the Ford Racing/Borla sport kit. I'm waiting for it to get here but hey, I'm still waiting for my car so it's all good lol.

I saved $300 as they have the best price I have found online (as usual).

The FRPP kit is not the same as the S-Type's. FRPP is a chambered muffler whereas the S-type's are a straight through. I just talked to Thomas from AM and he said they have the S-Types on order and they should arrive in the next 3 weeks. I'll be waiting for them!

This doesn't make sense to me. If they were going to change the name to Borla from Ford Racing by Borla, they would have done it already. For example, FRPP Touring exhaust doesn't sound like Borla's previous Touring systems. Some people on this forum is complaining that they are loud in the cabin. I wonder if Borla does more R&D to complete their systems after releasing the FRPP versions? :shrug:

Borla has been making the FRPP exhaust for years. They simply sell different systems with their own brand on them. Small differences but the same quality.

I was told by Chris Woodie with Borla that they are looking to release it early 2015 he told me to check back late Jan to see if they have produced the system or atleast have more info. So who knows really:shrug:

Ran s-types on my 2009. Cmon Borla! I want to see what you have (S-type/ATAK) before spending my money but making it very hard to keep waiting. They need a full catback system too with choice of X or H.

True, but they're going to hold back a bit on the Ford set up compared to their own.

The Ford Racing stuff is meant for the every day person so they have to keep the sound level aggressive but average. Borla stuff direct can go from quiet to all out.

Thanks. Had them on my '07. Never found them too loud, but the drone was getting to me after all those years. I'd love to get that sound back without the drone.
