Wanted to start 18 plus thread being there are pretty substantial differences on Gen 3 Coyote. Please share your experiences etc.

Working on 3rd road log revision on E85. Love it!

I was running E85, but went back to 93 in case I need to take it in to the dealer for engine noise. My experience with E85 (PBD Tune), was that it completely changed the mid range pull in the car. On a stock tune, the car felt anemic from 1500-3500 RPM. 93 octane tune was a slight improvement, but the E85 woke the engine up. I had one map revision, but really need to run a couple tanks of corn to get a final version.

Curious to see what kind of timing others are seeing?

Flex. It’s pretty consistent from 50-80% ethanol. I tuned it
Your showing a 15 gt in your info, an 18 will have different timing due to the extra compression. I saw the same as you with my 15 but noticed less timing allowed on my 18.

Wow, I'm surprised that you saw timing that high. I haven't logged in a while but when I logged my Lund Race tune I don't remember seeing 29-30* like I did with the 15. Maybe I'm just remembering how low my logs on 93 were. I just remember being bummed that I only saw around 26* on 93 with my Lund tune when I used to see closer to 30* with a good tank of 93 on my 15. I digress, this is supposed to be a thread about e85 on 18's so I'm gonna zip it until I have something worth while to add. LOL!

Lol it had been so long since I set my profile up I forgot about the vehicle. It’s changed now though. In order to get 30 degrees I had to raise the MBT on some of the less weighted mapped points. It is a lot nicer on the 18s though because the Flex fuel spark modifiers are there as opposed to 15-17.

I had a 14 cobra jet intake big mono Lund tuned 100 octane. 31 degrees was about it.

I’m already 30-31 on straight E with more room on timing. Super torquey. :).

Just took the leap today as my tank of 91 was about out. Unfortunately here in AZ not only do we not have 93 but our e is true ff circa e54. Been working with Shaun over at AED who tuned for my long tubes as well as ff. Still feels great even in the 115 degree.
