Did you ever get those rear subframe stud kits back in?We gunna find out!![]()
using zip-ties to secure it or worm straps? He did say "put it on the back of the car" so maybe I'll hang my set of springs from the truck nuts...On my way to throw 900lb/in springs on my rear axle of my 2012 S197 Mustang. This going to be gooooood!
very nice In case u need i have extra springs in the garage for the CORTEX.After a long wait. We got them! Currently on stock wheels right now, so I didn’t go crazy with alignment specs… YET! At a 1.5’ drop all around. Cortex and Jri really nailed it with this kit. I can’t wait to really dive into the adjustments

I contemplated this very thing and I contacted Vorshlag intended on buying MCS TT1. Their tech, Jason, strongly steered me towards the Ohlins R&T for how I described using the car. I even asked about the custom rate set and he said no - I suggest you use the Ohlins kit as is. I'm paraphrasing but he said they didn't come up with those rates by accident.Just curious, why the desire for coilover? looks or performance?
For twice a year track visit , I would just get the Bilstein dampers and BMR handling springs with camber plates and call it a day. Use the other funds for bracing and bearings. If you must have coilovers, I would take a look at the Bilstein PSS10.
Personally I plan to get the ohlins or if money falls in my lap, MCS TT1 but I dont want to go through fine tuning and corner balancing just yet.
Glad to see you coming back into things man. I think my heart is set on MCS because I plan to move up to TT and MCS allow you to send in and upgrade if desired.I contemplated this very thing and I contacted Vorshlag intended on buying MCS TT1. So anyway that's the route I am going. Will probably pull the trigger here shortly and hope to install in July.
