As a reference point..on the 2011-2014 5.0's with a full CJ top end (heads, cams, intake, LT's, etc)...they were seeing about 525 crank HP, usually in the 460-475 WHP range on 91/93 fuel.

'11-14 Coyotes were making 460-475rwhp with stock heads and bottom ends. With ported heads, Comp or equivalent cams they were making 520-550rwhp. Guy in Cali made 522rwhp on 91 octane. JPC was building customer cars in the 530-550rwhp range.

How're you liking the mono? I went twin 65 to avoid tuning issues.

I would highly recommend going ahead with the monoblade since you're doing an all out NA build. There are tuners out there who have it down. I think the main thing that's iffy is going with a 5" CAI instead of a 4.5". 5" gains just a little more power, but is very finicky at low speeds most of the time. Going with the monoblade and a 4.5" CAI seems to be the sweet spot for drivability.

What is a great 4.5 cai?

I already have the twin 65 and the JLT CAI. If down the line I feel that it's holding me back, I'll upgrade.

I just pulled the trigger on a cobra jet manifold and mono blade after messaging Lund. I asked what intake he would recommend and he said pbh or rev auto. He didn't mention any drivability issues and I assume he wouldn't recommend an intake that has issues. I cand seem to find any solid info as far as whp on the 15'+ coyotes with cobra jet. Going off of 11-14's they are making around 500 with stock cams and heads with full bolt on setups so I'd assume the 15'+ should make that no problem since we have better heads and cams.

500whp with cams maybe. I've never seen a bolt-on, exhaust, and CJ only Coyote or Roadrunner make 500whp. Every dyno is different, but that would have to be one happy dyno.

There's a roadrunner just shy of 500. It has comp cams but It doesn't specify fuel used so I assume 91 or 93. So sine the 15+ engine has similar heads and maybe on e85 500 on a Dyno jet should be very possible. But like you say every Dyno is different. Now the op trapping 126mph with 415whp is awesome. (Unless I missed something in the thread where he made more power, but still awesome)

The Roadrunner has similar flowing heads to the 2015+, and it's just shy of 500 with cams on what is almost certainly a Dynojet. A 2015 without cams on E85 most likely won't touch 500. E85 is only good for 10-15whp at the very most on a stock short block NA Coyote. You'll need cams to crack 500whp. I'd bet almost anything on it.

I'm guessing 450-470whp on E85, full catless exhaust, CJ with monoblade, 4.5" or 5" CAI, and a nice tune.

What does a C.J setup with c.j cams make on a 11-14 or boss mustang same years?

Man.. If I could put down 530-550 whp without cracking open the bottom end, that's tempting. I feel like I'm at a cross roads where I either take the NA path or start the whipple savings.

On a Coyote with the CJ manifold, CJ cams, longtubes, and solid tune, you're looking at about 475-485rwhp @8,000 on a dynojet. I only know of one person who's done a full CJ swap on a stock Coyote bottom end. A Roadrunner could see 495-500rwhp on the same dyno with the same setup thanks to its better heads.

You would need to at least install billet oil pump gears for that goal. Getting 550rwhp requires serious RPM's when naturally aspirated.

Great info, very promising. The 2015 coyote motor has the same bigger valves heads and cast from the boss 302r heads. stronger springs to support the 13mm lift cams.

All the goodies are their to take advantage of the CJ parts. More powerful factory computer, more control of the variable can timing then the 11-14 road runner and coyote motors.

I do feel tuners are holding back. They have yet taking advantage of the variable can timing control offered by the 2015 mustang and bigger factory cams.

OPGs are a no brainier if you ever remove the timing cover for anything at all IMO.
