I'm in dire need of help. See photo for my current state of installation of my CJ. I got the boss installation kit with the new purge valve and fuel line and brake booster line. Judging by some of the photos from some of you, the installation kit was not used? I not sure where these connectors need to connect in my photo. Any help would be appreciated.
I've got the boss manifold..... I removed that check valve ( 2 circle looking things with hoses connected to it) and connected the brake booster line to the bottom port on the manifold and run a 3/8 line (or the lmr kit line) from Blue Oring on purge valve to top port on manifold and let it sit right under the throttle body. Connect the green clip line back to the purge valve where it was before( green clip line goes to a little box looking thing that is the fuel vapor I believe)

Sure,

I bought the intake and throttle-body 2nd hand new.

2011 JLT cobra jet cai was used but filter did not work, so I used a smaller filter from JLT

Did not buy any hose kits.

No motor mounts needed, I trimmed the hood and it fit perfectly.

I used the N-guage/Lund tune for my car.

First I want to thank kallo07 and rozay for helping me with questions on my install. Without their help, I would probably still be trying to figure it out.

I did a little different I think than anyone so far. Since I already bought the Boss install kit and already did the wiring that the instructions showed, I decided to go ahead and use some of the parts. I used the purge valve that connects to the side of the CJ manifold and the vacuum line that runs down to the drivers side wheel well the new purge valve. I removed the green connector vacuum line that originally ran to the front of the motor and used the vacuum line in the Boss kit. Everything looks great and I just finished my datalogging to send to Lund.

Thanks Again for the help!!

I love how this intake looks on these cars. Does anyone have a Dyno sheet over lay from the stock intake setup? I want to see what the 2 power curves look like.

What are max gains you guys are looking for out of an N/A setup once you do all the head work and cams etc.?
As a reference point..on the 2011-2014 5.0's with a full CJ top end (heads, cams, intake, LT's, etc)...they were seeing about 525 crank HP, usually in the 460-475 WHP range on 91/93 fuel.

I'm hoping for around 530-550 rwhp on E98.

Thats w/ cams, CJ, ported heads, valvetrain upgrades, and MMR gears.

2. Mono blade
3. CJ JLT intake
4. Custom 3in cat delete kit
5. Thinking of a 5c stall know any good companies out their?

Possibly swapping to e85 may do their flex option.

How're you liking the mono? I went twin 65 to avoid tuning issues.

It's good, around 1500-2500rpm their seems to feel like a miss. Wot is great! Just the drivability, maybe more refined tuning needed their. With the variable can timing, ignition. The tuners have a more powerful computer and more control on the variable cam timing events. They can figure it out or slowly releasing what they can do, to keep buyers buying

the IMRC and cam timing is highly related. remove the IMRC and you will have to alter the cam timing....
