The AWE has reflective sound chambers internally so with the damage I’d be cautious. If any internal welds are compromised there’s a good chance the mufflers will rattle.
The Jones has a built in crossover so a H-pipe or X-pipe is unnecessary.

About the Thermal R&D, I’ve never heard complaints, it’s mid pipe is a mix chamber not an H or X configuration. You could always add rear mufflers behind the Helmholtz like the Ark Grip system to lower the dB’s if needed.

TBH, if you have welding skills and access to a lift I’d jump on the Thermal R&D and refine it if needed. Plus you mentioned Supercharging and this system is sized appropriately.
I think I'll order the thermal then if that's the best option. I'm tired of hearing trumpets when I get on it. Pretty much the only time it sounds good rn is idle and sub 2.5k rpms. As for boost. I am heavily considering it maybe in another couple years or so. Im only 21 and I had 30k saved up and I lost all of it never to be recovered by gambling. So I'm in a financial out that doesn't allow boost for the time being. But I've always wanted a boosted car so it's still on my bucket list. I think the thermal price wise is my best option because it has the crossover and rest of the system+ the shitty shop that did the car deletes welded a steel reducer to the stainless exhaust and I won't need to deal with a reducer at all since it'll be 3 in to 3 in. Just gotta do either some extensions to bridge the gap. And should I weld the crossover/midpipe to the car deletes or make it a fight for and use clamps that both sides of the pipe slide into (the ones that are basically a sleeve). I don't have access to a lift. But jackstands work fine for me since with the car delete flanges I can remove it from the car entirely to weld as needed. I also have 2 forklifts so worst case I use both at the same time and make my own lift. We've picked up tractor trailers that get stuck on a hill here with the forklifts so a mustang should be light work.

Slip Clamp joints if possible.
You’ll be happy you warmed up to the Thermal R&D system, it’s a high quality 304 mandrel bent system, tip are double wall, their mid mix chamber is like the older MAC ProChamber and the rear Helmholtz cancels the drone.
As mentioned if you want to refine the sound add a set of Stainless Bros mufflers after the Helmholtz. https://www.stainlessbros.com/3-SS304-Lightweight-Race-Muffler-12-OAL--Matte-Finish_p_356.html

I went with shifteck for the cat and resonator delete on the gt350. Tbh the pcs I got look good, fit was perfect, welds were nice, I have not installed resonator delete yet, as the cat delete is loud. Not sure I want it any louder. Some have talked crap about this company, maybe cus they are less expensive than what they spent, or got a bad pc. I took the gamble and was impressed. I could not have built this for that cheap.

cheers

The helmholtz will be in place of the midpipe right? So the the mufflers/resonators should be between the midpipe and axle back are? Also will the stainless reduce the rasp? I found this video
And it's still raspy when higher rpms. But not as trumpety. Down low it sounds awesome (mine will be slightly difference since I have cat deletes not full long tubes). I know without cats it will be really hard to keep the rasp away. I want to keep as much volume as possible but sound nice at the same time.

The headers are what make it trumpety

The Helmholtz resonator is the thing on the left side that goes 'nowhere' in this axleback

The Helmholtz resonance chambers are circled in red and located in the rear of the car near the OEM muffler location.

You’re using factory 4-2-1 headers w/o cats shouldn’t be to bad with the Thremal R&D as is out of the box.

Catless will always be loud and really give off the bad side of the coyote- however a hood catback (by catback i mean a branded set, or even just a mismatch welded diy resonator and muffler) will always quiet it down to a more managable volume while added alot of refinement. It wont sound like a ferrarri but it will sound a ton better, and yes there is a big difference between mufflers for tone, and resonators help with the tinnyness, loudness, and rasp. Id put a set of resonators and mufflers based on how loud you want to go

I want it loud. Screaming loud as it's a fun car. It's still quieter than my bosses harely. But I want it to sound better. Deeper and less raspy with maybe a bit more control ie (quieter down low so I don't piss off everyone I pass in neighborhoods and loud as balls when I step on it or get above like 30mph I floor it basically everywhere as is. But do about 10mph in 3-4th gear and am borderline stalling but keeping it quiet as a mouse to please them. If there's resonators that won't cut volume but will refine it I'll toss those in with the thermal. Probably going to order it Thursday when I get paid I should have just enough in my bank acct to afford it and not overdraft lol

You’ve made a good choice and I’ll go as far as saying you won’t be touching the system after it’s installed. It’s going to sound real good with the OEM 4-2-1 Catless headers.

They make straight thru non packed resonators, they typically do alot for drone and rasp but dont take much noise out

Muffler wise get a non packed muffler for max volume but the chamber from a muffler with some metel slants inside will help fix the noise a bit while again no packing keeps it from reducing noise much

I find it hard to believe its that quiet for you
When i had my car not boosted yet with catless headers plus armytrix catback, it was insanely loud, louder than a straight piped zr1

For the muffler it'll be the thermal one. That seems to be the best bang for the buck for a full catback in my case. 3in too so it won't require as much fabrication to make fit up. Thinking of adding an additional resonator depending on the sound

Here you go, Krona Exhaust is a rebranded or more correctly said private labeled Thermal R&D system.
You be the judge but IMO it’s Bad Ass !

Well fuck me sideways. Was scrolling through thermals page and it wasn't showing sales tax so I hit confirm order and I never input any info and Google auto filled info and it placed a order for $760. This is wild. Is thermal good with canceling orders? The worst part is the address it auto filled is completely wrong and it's not even remotely close to where I actually live Google auto filled some random address. Any tips?
