Loudest Active Exhaust Setup

Hey all, this type of question has more than enough nails in its coffin, but I must know for sure.
I currently have lth’s and high flow cats, with an x pipe and the stock active exhaust. I’m looking for the loudest possible setup given i have an active exhaust. I’m thinking of ditching the cats and going with corsa extreme catback but that seems unnecessary given the new price.
So my question is, are the corsas the loudest I will find while going catless lth’s? And would it probably only be worth it to find a local deal less than full price?

Just be prepared to glass-shattering cold starts and listen to YouTube clips beforehand. It's scary sometimes.

Any of the reputable systems, their "race, or Extreme" will be the loudest. Corsa Extreme, Borla ATAK, Flowmaster Outlaw, MBRP has one too. And there is a Roush that is basically just pipes and no mufflers at all... I am a huge Borla fan myself, and I have the Switchfire, I love it but its attached to my factory mufflers.

Thanks for all the replies, the x pipe, long tube headers and stock active exhaust is pretty loud already, but definitely looking for the MOST sound I can squeeze out of the platform as I can. I might need to check out some in person setups of each of these to see what it’s like compared to the stock active mufflers.

Haha. I did headers and immediately started trying to quiten mine down LOL. My GT had Borla S type (mid loudness level) and once the headers were on I was over it within 2 days. Of course I am an old fart LOL.

LOL, No problem with preference at all!! I rarely ever go WOT, and i always start in quiet mode because even I don’t want to hear that every morning at 6:30, but when I get on it, I want to be heard as far away as physically possible. That might be excessive but to each their own.

Borla ATAK and Corsa (their active is actually both Sport & Extreme depending on what mode you’re in) are the loudest I’ve heard personally.

MBRP Race effectively has no muffler, just the Helmholtz resonator and is just as loud but I wouldn’t say any louder. But it does not have the active feature so you’d need to get an actuator bracket (AWE sells them) or pull the fuse on the active so you don’t get warning lights.

Not a worry there! I care, but only enough to start in quiet haha! I’m really thinking about the extremes and at this point, trying to find a good deal either here, Facebook, or locally. I’m thinking extremes are the way to go! I might keep the high flow cats if catless really is considered too raspy by some.

I have the Borla Atak on my Mach 1. It’s LOUD. Really too loud for cold starts before 8am in any neighborhood.

Definitely have to use the quietest setting for early morning.

LOL - I get it, I TOTALLY do. I just hear so many LOUD mustangs in my area and I just would love the option…if needed to be just as loud or louder. So I figured I’d make a post and see what people had that they enjoyed
