I wanna do a catless exhaust with not resonator but keep the stock mufflers due to the active exhaust. If I cut the cats without a tune will the car go into limp mode or lose power?

I don’t have an answer for you but given you have active exhaust it’s hard to imagine how any sound you were looking for wasn’t already somewhere in the stock setup. Plus, you can dial it down if you need to.

Just do a resonator delete. Plenty loud....trust me... much better option than hacking off cats

I did catless LTH with Steeda x pipe and stock active. I had a magnaflow tru x resonator by the end of the week. It was very very loud. The active function didn’t make much of a diff. But now I couldn’t be more happier. But it’ll be loud AF if that’s what your wanting

well I want it to be loud and Obnoxious and let everyone know I drive a coyote in track and close to stock in quite mode. I do have plans on the corsa extremes so that should be decently quiet in the lower rpm’s.

But no backfire or massive flames, not into massive flames on the s550 but some backfire isn’t all that bad.

Well after the headers n no cats (prolly be same with no cats) and x pipe. There’s no such thing as quiet mode. Just fyi.

I’m currently running LTHs into an H pipe and factory active exhaust. My quiet mode is still stealthy. Starting in quiet mode isn’t exactly “quiet” but it’s far from what I think anyone would consider loud. I have no concerns starting in quiet mode at any hour of the day.

Mind you this setup on anything other than quiet mode is very very loud.

I did long tubes and X pipe into the stock mufflers and was not pleased. It was never all that quiet (even in quiet mode), was way too loud in sport/track mode, and didn't sound great tone wise in normal or quiet mode.

Resonator delete with our Corsa double H pipe and the factory active exhaust is a great combo that won't throw any codes and get you the tone you're looking. If you still wanted to do a catless design, you would need to do headers and a tune. It can get pricey after everything which is why the resonator delete is typically the best options. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out any time.

If you go catless or long tubes consider the Corsa Sport instead of Xtremes. The tone on the Xtremes got way too trumpety after going long tubes. I added a pair of Vibrants to chill the trumpets which wormed, but ultimately cut off the Corsa mufflers and added AWE Touring rear section to the Corsa double X mated to long tubes. Best sounding combo on this build so far. But had I gone Corsa Sport from the start likely would have avoided that whole journey lol.

I might just do a cat delete keep the resonator and active muffler and see how that goes, I’ll need to remove the code, so what’s the best tuner kit for that. I do have plans to boost it later on as well, and do a jlt intake so I need a tuner kit to kinda do it all and is compatible with tuners.

I switched from the LTH+Xpipe+stock active to LTH+Ford Performance touring w/res cat back. No valves. It's the best the car has sounded to me and the tips look great.

Sounds great at WOT, stock at idle, and subtle around town. Someone who knows cars would know it isn't stock but it doesn't draw unwanted attention. Volume wise it's in between normal and sport on a totally stock active system.

Maybe I'd have been happier with an H pipe instead of an X.

I think you're on the right track with deleting cats and seeing what happens from there.
