That's just it - it's not that the physical thing isn't happening, it's that a sensor may not be sensing it.How could oil temp not come up driving the car for hours though?
I've been reminded that there isn't actually an oil temperature sensor; oil temp is kind of inferred from other sensors. But either way: there's a series of things that need to be true in order for LC to come on. One or more of those things either 1) is not happening, or 2) is not being sensed even if it is actually happening in your car.
