Has anyone else had this problem?
2019 ecoboost.

Every time i would have Launch Control checked and enabled, it shows a lit up "LC" in the middle of the digital dash. Now all of the sudden out of no where, no matter what the "LC" doesnt show up anymore and cant use launch control. Anyone know why this might be or do i need to take it to Ford

I guess launch control uses info from quite a few of the cars systems and a blip in anyone of them would be enough for it not to play ball.

Code reader and / or a trip to a dealer ?

Check all fuses in passenger side fuse box behind kick panel AND the under hood engine fuse/relay box for any blown or loose fuses/relays.

-----
Definitely pull codes. Even if you don't have a code reader, you can do it in your driveway using Engineering Test Mode.

If you have a 2015-2020 with the ANALOG gauge cluster, you should be able to enter the “Engineer Test Mode".

Follow this link:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/engineering-test-mode.27581/

If you you have a 2018+ with the DIGITAL cluster, you should be able to access the same test mode found here:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...n-18-digital-dash-old-way-doesnt-work.115231/

----
Also check to make sure all harness connectors under the hood are secure and that rodents have not chewed through any harnesses.

----
IIRC, if the car has AE and the rear short harnesses and associated connectors at the mufflers for the AE motors are damaged that limits some "mode" capabilities too.

----
Check the harness at the air box which may also be an issue if it has become disconnected... pictured in THIS thread:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/traction-control-fuse.109035/

----
One last thing, the rear thrust washers couid be causing sporadic issues too, do a search on here for "thrust washer".

Cant say i know a whole lot about it to even know what I'd be looking for in there. So you really think that would cause launch control to have an issue and nothing else?
I would think if there's a problem electrically with the fuses there would be like a handful of things not working correctly

When you say it doesn't work, what is it doing? Is there flashing lights? Do you have LC enabled in the menu?

Im not sure if you have used it, I attached a screenshot. When you go to the launch control menu, you can either check the box or uncheck the box to enable or disable launch control. For the past year, this "LC" in the picture world be on the dashboard and you can use the launch control.

Now, even when you check the box and enable the launch control, that lit up "LC" no longer displays and the launch control doesnt work

Why is the shift light set at 4k ? Could that effect it (is it lower than your LC setting ?).

I know the LC doesn't come on in my car until the engine is warmed up. Just a thought maybe it's a bad temp sensor. I'm not sure how many our cars have.

People on other pages have said that but again I'll run it for like a whole day the engine is DEFINITELY warm and it still doesnt work. Also all the other times i would pretty much start up the car and it would show enabled
