Burble tunes and tortas are just like mopeds. Fun till your friends find out.
Funny you mention that. A buddy of mine just bough this brand new Yamaha scooter thing to ride to work. 300cc, all the bells and whistles that can be had on a scooter. He was trying to show me all the features and get me to ride it and such. I was like "cool dude, never speak of this again"

My car does that every once in a while when it is cold and I hate it.

I have one, dialed in really nicely it’s a ton of fun.

Don’t run it on factory cats that’s just asking for trouble.

I've seen many cars round these parts with burble tunes. Seems like more and more of these people are just attempting to garner attention rather than making peak power gains. Never knew it was called burble tune until this thread was read... Thanks for connecting the dots.

This is basically the younger car generation now days. They care more about what others think of them than what they think about themselves. It's actually pathetic if you ask me. The mentality of "hey look at me please accept me and think I'm cool".
Some can say the same about loud exhausts. Sorry but a screaming V8 sounds 500X better than a car backfiring sounding like a complete piece of shit.

This thread makes me wonder if I even know what a burble tune is, so forgive my ignorance. I thought the 18-23 did some burbles stock with the active exhaust, and all of the Ford Performance Power Packs added it to cars without.

I doubt Ford would add something that would damage cats from the factory, nor do I think the Power Packs would get CARB approval with something damaging to emissions.

Is a "burble tune" something more obnoxious than the stock/perf pack noise on decel that seems to last about 500rpm? If not, why is OP in a 2019 seeking a burble tune instead of just slapping on a Power Pack?

I want to say thanks for the video that helped me learn, but that is unpleasant.

That is absolutely not the same as the Power Pack or Active Exhaust burble.

You can tune it for different intensities, duration, etc. Mine does it a few seconds, only in sport mode, and not that aggressive/obnixious. Ford put the logic in all pcms but only activated it in bullit afaik.
