Build Week 2/2/15

My salesman said he would also check into this tomorrow. My EDD has yet to change at all since it popped up on Cotus. I expect that to change any time now with this QA hold in effect. FordService was able to tell me today that my order has been bumped back to "In Production" and won't be awaiting shipment until the end of next week at the latest.

This is definitely not a toy for me, my daily died 12/26 so I ordered my Mustang 12/29; I wish I could afford a 'toy' but at this point, I just need a 2nd car. I know it sounds petty, but seriously, not knowing when my car is going to arrive sure doesn't make life easy.

AndreG, This is a Forum after all. The purpose is to come in and discuss our thoughts...concerns, regarding our Mustangs. Even our frustrations....
That is the reason for this forum is it not?
But I do respect your opinion. You are right about one thing. I am a 61 year old kid...waiting as patiently as I can for my new toy....And I am glad I can come here to find that I am not the only one in this Boat...Waiting with no explanation why......

Wise beyond your years.. But at your age, you may be breakin' even! :lol:(and I am a 61 year old kid too and just said the same thing to an older buddy when I called to wish him Happy B'Day tonight. ;))

(to the degree we can remember ;)) Hopefully we'll have too much grin on our faces to even look back at this time of frustration.

I'm very excited for my mustang too, and I can hardly wait, however getting angry seems a little odd.

Still showing it's waiting to be shipped but FORD also told me it hasn't been released from the Plant and it's technically still "under production".

Mine got delayed for 2 months because there was no allocation and dealer kept that from me.

Thanks Dave. By the way, have you looked into getting a "catch can" for the new mustang when you get it? I just read up on the benefits in the tech section regarding eco boost engines. I am very interested in this. sounds very beneficial. You may want to check it out......
P.S. well, I just noticed you have a V 6 on hold right now. so the catch can does not apply....Sorry about that.

My car was actually Built on 2/6, and although it shows "Awaiting Shipment", it is still technically "In Production". it is being held at the plant for reasons unknown to her. She says that all the cars built during this Build week should all be shipped by the end of next week, possibly sooner.
That's all the info she had for me. I hope this is some help for those with the build week of 2/2 15.....

I guess I must of gotten a little lucky? I went to the dealership on 1/15. Ordered on 1/21, in production 2/06 and is now awaiting shipment...

EDD 2/24.

Looks like you and I are in the same boat. Hopefully it gets shipped sooner. You'll probably get yours before I get mine in California.

I was told that they expect any orders from last week's build dates that haven't been released yet to do so by the end of next week... Sounds like there might be a light at the end of the tunnel. :cheers:

Yes indeed. I was told they would go into awaiting shipment which is a little different than the guy above heard but either way being released by the end of next week is great news. Checking COTUS everyday, a few too many times a day.
