Hey, no problem! The lurching is completely gone when I shift into drive now. I was unsure if it had actually shifted into drive or not the first time I got back in the car because it was so smooth. Shifting while driving is also smooth but the transmission is having to relearn my driving habits...
Wanted to give you guys an update. I got my car back from the dealership and they were able to fix my transmission and find the cause of the lurching into drive and harsh shifts.
Here is what was wrong with my transmission. My car was doing the same as yours. Lurching into drive and having harsh downshifts from 4th to 3rd. I got my car back the other day and it shifts so smoothly now.
My problem seems to be from a bad valve body. The second dealership I brought my car to actually had a transmission tech who was able to diagnose what was wrong. I saw in a different post that a few others have had their valve body replaced as well. I get my car back in a few days and hopefully...
I brought mine to the dealership last week for this exact issue and the tech said he couldn’t duplicate the problem but this was normal for this transmission. I wanted them to reflash the transmission but they wouldn’t do it. I’m going to bring it to a different dealer and have them look at it...
Don't know what's up with your dealer but mine was able to order me one of these tires for a replacement on my car. Anyway I was able to find some available at JEGS with free shipping.

Hey I bought my Mustang from Planet Ford as well! I hope you got a great deal on it like I did. I bought mine with 120ish miles on it because it was a dealer trade and they drove it down here. I'll have to check my paperwork when I get home from work to see if they extended the mileage on my...
I drove my 2015 GT to the movies one night back when I first got the car a few years ago. When I came back out there was a 6 inch crack in my windshield. I don't remember a rock hitting the windshield at any time so I assume that it was vandalism that caused it. I haven't had any other...
I was able to locate the sensor behind the grill after some digging around the internet. The connection was all good. Still reads 50 degrees after unplugging and plugging it back in. Tried a master reset on Sync and that didn't work either. Set up an appointment with my local Ford dealer on...
The temperature reading next to the clock is constantly stuck at 50 degrees. The outside temperature is above 80 degrees so there is definitely a problem. I can't even figure out where the sensor is located to check for a loose connection. Anyone out there know where it is at on the car or do...
I'm in the same boat as you. I wash mine the same way and try to be very careful but still i've ended up with a few scratches here and there. I'll have them buffed out soon and hopefully i can find a better washing technique afterwards to prevent the scratches.
3.5 miles when I got mine. I was lucky to find one that had just arrived at the dealership and was still at the back of the lot. Absolutely perfect condition.
Toothpaste! It worked like a charm! A dab of whitening toothpaste on the tip of my finger polished it right out with a few minutes of work. You can't even tell it was there before.
