Just to be clear, I should jack the front end up, take the tire off, remove the inner fender liner and that should expose the bolt head?I also broke mine when putting in a strut tower brace. I used a chisel and a hammer to knock the last piece out. Mine was tack welded in three spots around the flat metal on the underside. Took the nut to the hardware store and thread matched it with I believe a 2 1/2 or 2 3/4 bolt, I also used a large washer on the under side. I will probably get it tack welded at some point, otherwise if you take the nut off, the bolt it will fall out. Not a big deal just a hassle.
I believe that is the process. I have not had to perform this (Knock on wood), so not sure if the strut needs to be dropped or not. It shouldn't require any more than getting in there with the Dremel.Just to be clear, I should jack the front end up, take the tire off, remove the inner fender liner and that should expose the bolt head?
Think I can take a small dremel cut off wheel and remove the tack welds and the head will fall off?
