Installed the strut tower brace and the cowl brace today. Added the strut tower caps as well

Funny I did the same thing this morning - skinned up my knuckles removing the plastic cowl brace and adding the extension, metal cowl brace and strut tower.

Was surprised how much difference it made - even though I did the same thing on my '17 - guess I'm getting old.

IMO it's beneficial to remove the engine cover if you install this brace, there's so many little things that require you to remove it, and then you have to pull the brace (or at least unbolt it on one side). Unlike the older engine cover there isn't enough room to pull it off the intake manifold without hitting the brace.
