Hey Folks,
Slapping in some G-Loc GP1792 R10’s….reusing factory hardware.

Does this look correct? It seems like G-Loc has more material around the pin holes, and in order to slip the pins through, I have to bend the factory pad keeping hardware?
you can see where I’m pointing, is the location it’s bending. Is this normal?
I added a pic of factory hardware for reference.
Eta - well, I just kind of beat the factory hardware down with a mallet and it seems pretty tight, a tad bent, but works.

See how the top part of the spring bracket is riding up on one side of the ridge of that pin? Thats why its not quite fitting. Too early to BFH that.

Get the top pin seated, then put on the bracket and make sure its centered properly so it fits, then hold it down and drive in the bottom pin, making sure the bracket rides in the low part of the pin. Make sense?

Your pins aren’t set all the way in, the point should protrude from the hole enough to see 1-2mm of the side of the pin through the hole. Your pin tips are recessed too much. More hammer there.

That’s exactly what I did - thanks!!
Seated the top first, did bend the bracket some, then seated the bottom last.
Used a hard plastic hammer to push the pins all the way through.
