Check this out….
Similar set up to you…but has the Borla resonator
sounds amazing to me. took all that nasty fart sound out that some people seem to love!

I got this setup with catted headers on my 17s, perfect sound, louder than catback but quieter than full system.

Borla S type catback.
Absolutely zero drone on these things.
just ordered a 3 inch Remus H pipe which will fit the Stype catback.
resonator is too quiet for me.
selling if anyone is interested…

You can have the tuner modify the cold start since you're catless. My child start idle is between 1000-1200. Downside is that it takes a little longer to warm up.
If you drive it right after starting it vs letting it sit and idle it won't take any longer to warm up

Yep that’s it.
It will need cutting down a little but should fit perfectly.

I like the stamped H section.
So many exhaust companies just blast a half assed hole into the side of the main runs and MIG weld a coped crossover. A person never knows if they’re getting a full port H crossover with some hole sawed or torch cut undersized weep holes. That Remus is done right !

Yeh
They known for good quality in Europe.
they also have another midpipe with a smaller silencer.
I was considering that one but it looks like the pipes slightly bend right at the point I would need to cut.
but I went against the idea because that pipe is Eu approved meaning the sound levels will bring the car back down near stock.

might later on add some stainless works chambered bottle resonators after the h pipe. Interested to see how that would sound too.

Got the Remus 3 inch H pipe fitted.
im telling you, s type catback and H pipe is the way to go.
Was worried it would just sound like a resonator delete but I was wrong. It’s amazing, really deep burble around town and no rasp at WOT

Thought it would sound just like the x pipe but it’s definitely different. Maybe less power but I don’t notice it. Feel more low end torque though.

Did you have to cut or modify the H pipe to fit the Stype cat back ? Looking for same solution but mine in 2.5”
