Yes & there will be no rasp or drone. just poor deep rumble sound! I am running 1 7/8 LT's (TSP) with no cats, the MF TRU X, into the FRPP/Borla Touring mufflers. The sound is perfect! Not too loud, not to quiet. I've got bad weather/cold here in Jacksonville right now but will get a vid soon (another member has asked for it also).

Is this resonator able to be installed instead of the factory resonator on the 2018 mustang GT’s? I mean I know it’s stated it’s meant to work with the Borla exhaust kits, but has anyone done it like I am asking? I would to hear it.
I bought a H-pipe resonator delete kit on my 2018 GT and while I do love the lower end rumble and how deep it is, at higher rpm it’s really raspy and I don’t like it anymore. I’m on the NON active valve exhaust too btw.

yes it replaces the factory resonator & will fit. You will love the sound.

That would be helpful! Thanks. I was thinking I would have to switch to Ataks with the resonator to avoid losing volume

I Wish Magnaflow would break up there kits. They have it for there 18-19 which works perfectly but they will not sell them separate like CJ pony has it in a 2.5. Inch model. 3 inch comes with the 18 kit. I reached out to Magnaflow trying to buy the tru-x 3” resonator. But was told they will not break kits up. Not sure why? But it Was very disappointing to get an answer “Try putting cats on the car”. Well I guess Borla has a nice 3inch version and will get my business.

Ps:

Magnaflow while I appreciate a response. I did put cats on the car and they lasted for a month. Luckily i caught it before I blew my motor. They can’t handled over 700rwp per stainless works.
