Thank you.Call Ford and report your issues, they will give you a case number and assign you a Regional CSR. It's a process but that's how I did it and Rachel is a huge help. You can contact her @Ford Customer Service.

Thanks! I'm sure that nothing would have been done for me if I hadn't been persistent and I have definitely mentioned replacement several times. I'm curious to know what the engineer has to say about all that's wrong with my car.Thank you for this info. My car is built...but, sitting and not in "Awaiting Shipment." Rachael is not sure why either. Still checking. Doesn't think it's a QC type of hold. But, something is going on. My car was built on 2/5 and is still not in to the shipping area. I smell a 'rat." LOL....my dealer is talking to their Dist. Rep. to check on my car and why the delays.
It's quite obvious Ford has a problem on their hands. From the cars I've inspected and what I've read here from those of you that have your cars....there is more about what's wrong with them...than what's right.
Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. IF my car upon arrival is just not right...or I'm not super happy with it...I won't take it. My GM is totally OK with that. I have a great '14 GT Prem. sitting in my garage.
$42,674 MSRP is too much for poor quality construction. Some here...don't care...get in drive....don't see the outside! Wow....OK then.
Keep us updated. You have an interesting case going on. I'm very curious how Ford will handle your car. I had a Mustang bought back before...but, I had to do my homework. They didn't step up and make the offer up front.
Thank you.
Was looking at my car today and got me all upset.
I've been pretty unlucky. I've taken my car to two different dealers now here in Charleston SC and I was told on both occasions that they are not going to fix my car's misalignments (front/back drive side bumper, doors, back glass, etc). I'm not worried about it right now since I have other issues to take care of first (engine/trans), but I'm gonna have to try my luck somewhere else.
*edit*
My car has misaligned doors, trunk, bumpers, etc. Here are the two most noticeable ones:
I agree that it's an issue but I actually blame the engineers who are the ones that think the panel issues are within tolerance. That's a lazy and complacent attitude. Thanks for the update. It just proves that the Mustangs are having REAL issues with body panels, door, etc. Even though you are picky...I am too. And, I know there are many cars that are worse than yours....doors touching fenders etc. And, some cars that are not too bad at all.
But, the fact that there are so many with these issues...proves that Ford needs to get a handle on this.
My car, along with many others built the week of 2/2 are on a QC hold...and I just bet it's because of the "fit issues." I know the reports going back on all the warranty claims have gotten their attention. I just want this over...fixed....and a "decent quality car" in my garage sooner than later.
Good luck and continue to enjoy your Mustang. I've owned 9...soon to be 10...and all 9 I have enjoyed a lot...even though 1 was bought back by Ford..and the rest were "not perfect" by any means. But, there is just something about them....a "cheap fun mystique" that made them enjoyable.
Now, not so cheap..IF you get a loaded GT....but, still FUN!
