First post on here, I wanted to see what anyone thinks or what solutions are possible for my car. I just picked it up a month ago and after the honeymoon phase I began to notice some things about the car. My passenger side fender is all out of wack ( fender pokes out from door at the top and the bottom but is flush in middle), which u will see from pictures, and also my drivers side door to fender gap is substantially larger than my passenger side. If anyone has recommendations, to take to a body shop or what is possible. I am going to the dealer on monday to see what they say but Dealerships can sometimes be no help. If anyone is familiar with these issues and have gotten them fixed please let me know. THE car has been in zero accidents and it is a ford blue certified pre owned. Images are attached. Please help!

That’s common. Since it’s used, it might be an issue, but ask first doesn’t hurt.

Have someone open each item slowly and watch for contact as long as nothing is touching I wouldn’t worry about it to much these cars arnt perfect there’s slight imperfections on the fitment. As you saw on my post my door was actually hitting the fender and rubbing it as long as nothing is making contact like that I would just leave it from what the body shop told me everthing has such tight tolerances they move something here next thing you know it’s off over here really starts to be a pain.

There is a big foam pad in that fender.. I would open the door and look at it and make sure its there and fit correctly and not sideways or something. Just something easy to check.

That's the normal guessing game Ford likes to play with the Mustang called "was I in an accident before or not" 😆 😆 😆

welcome to the party 😆

Not sure where the bolts are at the bottom of the fender, but at the top there's either 1 or 2, i think one that's easily accessible underneath a rubber flap. And then all along underneath the hood.

The door is tricky because it can be moved along multiple axis. But I fixed 90% of my panel issues myself and if I can do it...

If you tackle the door yourself, I'd use a deadman...I used my floorjack, and a 2nd good strong helper. I had my jack and me. Bit tougher that way.

I appreciate it. I have seen videos of how to adjust the fender and it doesn’t seem too hard, I’m just not the most hands on about things so I hope an experienced body shop tech will be able to handle this and make it look 80-90% better. I can almost stick my finger in the gap on the drivers side…

If you tackle it yourself, I made a few posts documenting what i did and how, starting here...
