It does, actually. The money they have to pay for present and past (pension) laborers puts them at a huge disadvantage to foreign competitors. In order to compete, something has to give. The auto unions have nothing to do with the use of cheap parts manufactured outside the US and then used in our cars.

I had the same thing on my stock panel.I still haven't had the dealer address these yet. The back panel has a discoloration that looks like a scratch but it isn't. It's actually inside the panel. And here's the paint drip I recently noticed, and the weird deformity in the drivers door. Wow, it's rather unbelievable nobody cares and lets these cars go out this way from the factory.
Not our problem. Build it right or we won't buy them.It does, actually. The money they have to pay for present and past (pension) laborers puts them at a huge disadvantage to foreign competitors. In order to compete, something has to give.
Oh, and today I noticed my back window is crooked like some of the previous members pics, my drivers side light lens corner sticks out and my GT back panel has some weird discoloration that looks like a scratch, and something is going on with my drivers side fender/well. It creaks loudly If it's touched. My car is a 2016 built in Feb. Needed door to fender alignment, dirt particles in hood in tha paint and a door ding repaired. I also noticed a paint drip blob at the tip end of the right front fender, and a weird deformity in the driver door just ahead of the side mirror.
I'm really surprised and disappointed in the lack of quality control on the Mustangs being built. You'd think with all the design hours and great engineering that went into the vehicle that Ford would insist on better part and build consistency.
If it's a matter of dollars and cents, then I'm sure no one would have a problem paying a nominal fee to have them built better. It's really a shame and it tarnishes the brand when an iconic car so incredibly designed like the mustang is executed with such lack of care.
I'm not sure that's actually true. Many 6g members have been attacked by the faithful who believe these issues come with the territory, and complaining about them makes the complainer some kind of malcontent. I have gathered that these quality issues exist because there's more than enough people who actually will buy them and accept them. Not our problem. Build it right or we won't buy them.

I wonder how that's playing in Europe.
Does anyone knows where I can find some pictures or video's on how to remove and reinstall the rear bumper? I want to get rid of the left gap and have the bumper fitted as it was supposed to be, in the factory they seem to have failed on that part.
First pic is the right side, and get's pulled outwards a bit. 2nd & 3rd pic is quite obvious.
