Yes Track. The Street is utter garbage. It's the junk they put on PP1 cars.

Yes the Ford is softer across the board. I personally prefer a more tactile response from my suspension. If there was a bump I want to know it was there. Not toss me out of my seat, mind. Nor pretend there was no bump.

Firm yet supple.
Yes my preference also. Unfortunately Ecoboost's 200lb lighter front end demands a different valving to get same feel as B6 on GT, over trashed city roads at low speed.

It could just be my tires seemed to be better with Potenza AS+

PZero AS Plus 3 255-40-19.

These AS Plus used to be great riding high wear cheap tires to handle shoulder season temps. Can also take huge potholes without blowing a side wall.

The only issue is under 40, sharp broken pavement and cracked / broken pavement, and washboard cracked roads where the ride is horrible.

Potenza AS seemed to be way better as are the Ultragrip Performance Plus.

Looking at the Bilstein offerings which I plan to go with at some point. Is the B6 setup with choice of springs a better option than the B16 coilovers they offer? Both end up pretty close in price which is interesting given that one is a coilover setup.

The b16 we again don't know spring rates. And despite being adjustable it's likely valved harder. Unless you're just itching to drop 2k to find out, stick with the known entity.

The B6's work well with the stock GT springs and up to 200/800. The 800 rears with the B6's are stiff but still livable. Bilstein tuned these with stock springs on the ring.

Higher than 200/800 I have not driven. I'd say 300 in the front would still be good, more spring in the rear might get harsh. My opinion

It appears that Vorshlag did test the spring rates, with the results below.

“We rated the springs from this Bilstein PSS10 coilover kit on our digital spring rater. These have rates of about 375# front and a progressive 500-725# rear. The front is stiffer than the GT350R, but the rear starts softer and progresses up to a similar rate. This should make for a nice, street friendly, occasional track set for 2015+ Mustangs.”

Yeah but the OP wasnt talking about the PSS10 coilover..

FWIW if you lower the car without correcting geometry, you would be increasing body roll. (Unless the springs rates go up a lot to extra compensate) because the roll center drops more than the amount of lowering.

The shocks are a good idea, because the’ll slow the body roll, but they dont limit it.

The swaybars will reduce body roll.

So the big question is the spring rate of those springs.

Lots of replies already, but I'm running

Steeda min drop springs
Bilstein B6 dampers
BMR sways
Steeda front X-brace
BMR CB005 rear braces

Overall, I love it. Sometimes I forget how nice it is, and then I drive a stock GT and I'm like "ewww". I live in the Northeast, and I don't find it too harsh over crappy roads, and I run 275/35-19 Michelin PS4S as my summer tires (stock Pirelli on OEM rims Nov-March).

I'm also running 1/4" spacers in the rear, but I'm willing to admit that's purely aesthetic... Although it doesn't seem to hurt handling too much.

Appreciate the insight! The spring rates of the PSS10 are “about 375# front and a progressive 500-725# rear” per Vorshlag. What I am trying to decipher is which is the better purchase (value) B6 with springs of choice or PSS10s. As they carry a very similar price point.
