So I installed my new big brakes on the rear of the car. When I installed I noticed on the only one side of the car (left) there where no spacers on it. (I bought my car with front and rear spacers) I thought… but on the left side no spacer?? I never have noticed it.

Today I finished my brake job. I installed 25mm on both sides on the rear… And i was SHOCKED. The left side was 10mm/0,40inch more out ofthe car than the right side???

What is wrong with my car? Does anyone have a clue? Is my cardle not right installed, or could it be damage?

Atleast now I know why there was a spacer on the right side and not on the left…

If it were me I would double check/physically measure the wheel/rim just to make sure they are the same then I would physically verify the spacers are the same. After that pick a few areas from somewhere and measure the cradle to the body or any other way you can measure

Aww, just throw a few washers on the wheel studs on the tucked in side before reinstalling the wheel…That’ll do it. 😳 :cwl:

Okay so 45days later… I bought the Hardrace IRS alignment kit (I think identical to the steeda one bushings) Did a alignment check. Got everthing centered…

Still the same. Still wheel poke on the driverside… I’m just desperate at this point what to do…

Anyone?? Please..

Are we sure the wheels have the same offsets? Pull off the rear wheels and inspect the markings

This. We haven't receive basic information that the wheel widths and offsets and tire widths are the same on both sides. Seen plenty of scenarios where a tire shop mounts tires on the wrong wheels and then mounts the wheels wrong too.

Please confirm the basics before buying more parts.
