Those Drakes look sharp. Like the long hood mount/support.
I do like the long hood side as well, seems like it would offer less possible flex at the mounting point on the hood. Not sure if that’s an issue, but I could see how it might be.

I have the Steeda one's on for three (3) years - no issues or complaints, pretty solid investment :)

redline, the elites are just chrome, 5 year warranty. the black ones are the same thing. but black. straight from redlines themselves.

I went black.

About the installation of the struts. Since the battery cover sits on top of the passenger side bottom strut mount, do most folks just drill through the cover on notch it out so you can remove the cover without having to deal with that strut?

The Ford Performance ones twist. See this thread under DIY how to fix the issue if you have the tools and skills.
DIY Improvement for the FP Hood Strut Kit (M-16826-MA)

I gonna go with another brand as mine are twisting.

Don't see the value in hood struts, the amount of time you have the bonnet up on a late model Mustang is minimal.
Also don't want to cut into the Battery Cover or have alignment / sagging issues with the struts once their installed.

How many of you have straight hoods after installing hood struts? Passenger and driver side level or is one higher or lower than the fender? Just curious because I haven't been able to get a set that works.

I installed the Ford Racing ones. Look/Work great and solved the hood flutter at speed
