Those two are absolutely adorable! My kids are are now adults but my son has ridden in the back. He is slim and about 5’8”. The convertible provides more headroom due to the shape of the top. I’ve also had my grandson in the back in the rear facing seat. The passenger seat had to be all the forward and not as reclined. My daughter’s knees were nearly touching the glove box but it was doable. I cycled the top to put in/take out the seat, with him already strapped in, as it was much easier that way. If you really want a coupe with a fully usable rear seat, get a Challenger. I sat in the back with the driver’s seat where I would have it and fit fine, and I’m nearly 6’2”. No convertible though, hence the Mustang.Useful for these little gals:
Because MuricaI threw my grand daughter back there when picking up my daughter at airport. She is 14 and had to fit sideways. "Grampa why is this car so loud?" Hahahah
not sure what I'm looking at here ?I like busting this picture of my seatback out. Also 6'2", anyone behind me cross-legged or sideways.
Left is the lower back seat behind the drivers seat.N

Mine's the same way. That's the back of the driver seat up against the rear seat bottom. See the black trim on the map pocket?N
