Another great use is taking the kiddos on the racetrack for alligator laps!

Useful for these little gals:

Those two are absolutely adorable! My kids are are now adults but my son has ridden in the back. He is slim and about 5’8”. The convertible provides more headroom due to the shape of the top. I’ve also had my grandson in the back in the rear facing seat. The passenger seat had to be all the forward and not as reclined. My daughter’s knees were nearly touching the glove box but it was doable. I cycled the top to put in/take out the seat, with him already strapped in, as it was much easier that way. If you really want a coupe with a fully usable rear seat, get a Challenger. I sat in the back with the driver’s seat where I would have it and fit fine, and I’m nearly 6’2”. No convertible though, hence the Mustang.

When I bought Mustang GT fastback, I assumed back seat was like a 911, useless. I keep a box of Kleenex back there, otherwise occasionally a jacket.

I threw my grand daughter back there when picking up my daughter at airport. She is 14 and had to fit sideways. "Grampa why is this car so loud?" Hahahah

It’s a 3 person car

My daughter can sit in the passenger side back seat if my wife has the seat up a bit. At 6’2” nobody can sit behind me

Useless, I'm going to do a seat delete, just picking the right look. I think it looks more clean without a backseat and saving 20-30 pounds is a plus!

My pre-puberty 6th grader fits fine right now. But, in 2 years he will not want to sit back there anymore. I have crammed my 6’ 215 pound body back there leaning into the middle for head room. Not fun... lol.

Useful to a degree. I wanted to do the rear seat delete once I saw how much room there was for passengers. But..my kids absolutely love the car and with moving my seat up a little I can fit my 10yr old son directly behind me. And I’m able to comfortably fit my 6yr old daughter behind the passenger seat in a booster. It’s definitely not something that’s going to work a couple years down the line but it works for now.

not sure what I'm looking at here ?
Mine's the same way. That's the back of the driver seat up against the rear seat bottom. See the black trim on the map pocket?

LOL, has anyone flown in economy class lately? I have to do "comfort plus". I'm a 5'10 woman who isn't skinny, and old enough to remember when Mustang began selling. I was just a kid, but it was a big deal. They never had much in the line of back seats, more of "occasional". Anyway, my cousin and his wife went riding around with me- an hour and a half or so. He is about the same height as I, but a lot heavier -maybe 220-230- and folded himself in the back, behind her. We both moved the seats up a little, but not all the way. He even got the seatbelt on, and then sat kind of sidesaddle. He said it actually wasn't bad once he was in. There wasn't room for anything else back there though, and watching him back out of the car was, well, plumber-like. I only get back there to clean the window, and then leave both doors open because I'm a total claustrophobic, lol

Yes. My gf at 5’2” and her son at about 5’7”. But I wouldn’t have an adult ride back there for very long. They’re literally sitting right under the glass. I tell them “don’t look up”.
Are you saying your GF is underage? :)
