Anyone Else want a Turbo Inline Six?

Sooo...how about bring the Australian Falcon stateside...

Wonder if that car will last.

I’m not arguing that a turbo in-line 6 should replace the v8 as the top engine. Not sure if anyone is.

I am only stating that this is inevitable. Definitely won't happen for the new version coming in MY23 though.

i don't want a V6 or L4 camaro, charger, corvette, mustang, etc... i understand that some people just want the looks, not the performance... but for me, i will never buy any of those cars with something else than the V8... if i want a 4 cyl turbo, mustang is not an option... that's why i have an sti and a wrx lol

I agree with this. I want the smallest possible car wrapped around the largest possible engine that will fit.

If I'm getting a car with a 4 cylinder turbo, I want something more like my Fiesta that weighs 2600-2700 lbs, not a 3600 lb Mustang.

Especially if they did a bit of a redesign to allow the engine to be tipped over a little. A straight six with vertical cylinders is really tall and would probably require a higher hood line. And I assume a straight six would require a little more length under hood as well. If they fit the Barra they could probably also fit the 6 or 7 liter DOHC V8 that I'm begging for.
