i havent gotten a chance to inspect the source of the high beams yet. are they from the HID bulb? I only see one projector in the headlight. do we have bi-xenons? i think not because when i turn the high beams on it looks like there's a different light source hitting the wall, and the low beams dont move. bi xenons would just the low beams higher.

strange because we do have a "auto leveling light" fuse in our fuse boxes.

I somehow thought that this thread would be about women exposing their chests on the highway.
Only in Southern California there Jimmy (cue in the Beach Boys "California Girls")

For my first post on this site, let me dig up this 6 month old thread. So.. My driving is probably a bit different from yours as I am living in Germany. I just got my gtpp a week ago and the lights are a problem. They are aimed alright for cruising, but when you're deep in the gas, the rear squats and the lights come up. I was into it with an audi (r)S7 the other day and as I pulled up and past him at 140-150, he pulled off to exit and flashed his brights at me... Ok, that was a shameless awesome racing on the autobahn reference, but it doesn't change the fact that when I'm on the gas, the lights are too high and it is dangerous to other drivers and ultimately myself. Does no one know how to adjust the lights?

Also.. I too love boobies...

there's a reference to auto leveling lights in the fusebox section in the manual. but do we even have auto leveling lights?

People used to flash their brights at me in my BMW 335xi all the time, drove me nuts. I would flash my brights back and show them what brights really looked like. :p

Yes, I have got flashed. I thought they were saluting my Mustang. Or warning of a speed trap

I also got flashed a lot, even on the drive home from the dealer. I have always found most lights to be too low even on my previous 2012 GT. Mine were way too high so I adjusted them down. Made the beam much more useful and kept the other drivers happy. I try not to flash someone back because most people are bad enough drivers, I do not need another one heading at me that cannot see or drive.

In the sixties all French headlights were yellow---you did not have to dip your lights

I get flashed. Mostly when I forget to dip the high beams, and I forget more often on this car than any other. I think it's because the blue indicator is WAY off to the left, out of my field of view, and often hidden behind the tach needle at cruising speed. I wish the light was front and center like on most cars.
