Going Army.....they do offer a 2 year enlistment. Take 1 semester of math/computers at your local community college, then sit your ASVAB; then tell the recruiter you will only enlist if you get X mos. And walk out. Cyber warfare specialist? Drone operator?
Or, if you really want to get your ducks in a row, join the military, pay off your Stang with your enlistment bonus, and get in killer shape, skills training, money for college, and preferential hiring. You also get to serve our great nation and protect me. You'll still be 28 when you're done.
If you really love your car and want to keep it, pick up some part time work. If it doesn't really matter one way or the other to you, ditch it and get something cheaper. How about a V6 Stang? They sound pretty snorty with an exhaust and they are reliable and fun.
23.5 mostly highway. I drive it 800 miles a week currently. Change oil about every 7-8 thousand. No discernible usage between changes. Amazing car; I would definitely buy another. I was never a Nissan/Infiniti fan prior, but this car has completely changed my perspective. The AWD isn't...
I got the car from my brother..
No repairs, just oil changes and brake pads. Lol the whole reason he traded the car was because it was smoking...turns out the serpentine belt was disintegrating and the cords were getting all wound up in the driven accessories. I pulled the belt and you could...
Another hilarity about that 08 infiniti is that it has the previous owners IPod plugged in inside the center console and IT still works and had a couple thousand killer tuned on it.
Just as crazy I have a 2008 infiniti g35x that I traded a pistol for when it had 187,000 miles...it now has 233,000 miles and EVERYTHING works and burns NO oil. It's insane. Also quite quick.
Thought of a couple more things. When using a carbide burr, a regular drill probably won't have the rpm necessary. Use a small right angle die grinder. Good ones, while worth the money, are hideously expensive. Luckily, Ingersoll-Rand offers an inexpensive one that will get you by. I got...
This reminds me of another story from my vast archived way back machine.....
Late 70's. My buddies dad is a blissed out hippie, lives in a schoolbus (my buddy was born in it), makes a living importing cheap oil paintings by the roll from China and sells them to businesses to decorate their...
I spent about a year and a half pulling broken bolts out of military aircraft. Behind the Flir on an AH1 Cobra was the worst for me. What a clearance nightmare.
You want to do everything you can to start your drill on center. Typically the bolt breaks unevenly....use a carbide burr (small...
I really liked my EB. It was a great combination of positive attributes.
That being said, I think Ford missed the boat by not offering a turbo inline six. Talk about exhaust note. My vote is for the Australian "Barra" inline turbo six.
Thank you so much Ahmed. This is the second window sticker you've gotten for me. I was able to use the first one to increase my insurance payout for that car when it was totaled. I am definitely indebted to you. Thanks again.
