One of the members here (@krisk) runs the same exact tire with the setup that extends 1mm more than mine in the rear without any rubbing so I am sure it will be fine.
I’m running 305/35r20 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 in the rear on 20x11 wheels with a +50 offset. I don’t have any rub with this setup. With a +45 wheel you could be getting really close to rubbing the fender, although the 10.5 width should narrow the tire a little. I ended up adding a 1/4” rear spacer to raise the back end up 1/2” for a little more wheel gap. I didn’t have any drivability problems before the spacers; I just like the look better with slightly more gap since I’m running a short 285/30r20tire in the front.

As I mentioned, with my specs my rear tire is tucked 1mm more than yours, so if yours not rubbing, mine won't either. Do you have photos with more gap?

So here's my report on fitting 20x10.5 +45 Velgen VMB8 square setup. I tried it with a 3mm spacer first and was not happy with less than 1mm wheel to strut clearance and then with a 5mm spacer. I always wanted to experience a wide tire in the front and to my surprise, with 305's the tramlining I was so worried about was not present at all. Another concern was the tire to spring support plate clearance, but as you can see in the photo it clears just fine. I put the old and new wheels on the scales and it showed a total savings of 5.6lbs. As for the driving, it grips really well when the tires get warm, it's not much noisier for me to notice, the road imperfections are a bit more noticeable but that's what you'd expect with the lower sidewall. For the looks, the front wheel sits ok to my taste, but if not my very steep driveway I'd drop it even more, but the back with this tire size doesn't fill the wheel arch well enough. That's why I already ordered 305/35 Nitto R2 for the back. It will also add the rake back that I was not happy losing with this square setup. Keep in mind, I still have -1.9 camber on the front and -2.4 on the back from when I was running 25mm spacers. I don't need that much camber anymore and as soon as I install FP Track struts I'll be setting back camber stock and leave about -1.7 in the front. For now it's stock PP1 struts and Steeda Sport progressives.

So your wheels are a 20x10.5 40mm offset? And you added a 5mm spacer to the front? I could be wrong but I think that means it would make it a 20x10.5 35 offset for the front. Not a 45?

They are +45 with 5mm spacers on the front, so it's +40 now.

Do you think it possible running the ford performance track suspension set-up with 20inch rims? or do you think there will be rubbing? Im looking to go 20x9 on the front and 20x10.5 on the back

way better to go 20x10 squared... But no, those widths are hardly aggressive. You'll have so much room you won't know what to do with yourself.

And going with a 20x10 square set up what offset would you recommend going with? I looking for well to be flush with the fender, not a fan of the poke look

x10 ET35 or ET40. If you buy ET40 you can shim it out with a 3-5mm if you are so inclined. If you go with ET35 you're getting close to "flush".

you're in the wrong thread !!

Here's my fitment guide.

So grateful I found this thread - just picked up a set of Vossen VWS-2s 20x10.5 +28 squared wrapped in 275/35/20 and I wanted an idea if anyone else has done this. Can't wait till it warms up (I'm in Toronto) and I put these on!!

Make sure to post photos when you put them on. I am curious to see how stretched 275 on a 10.5 would be.

I got them off a local guy here off his gt350. The picture of them in black is how they were bought and on stock suspension - the second pic is how they are now powder coated satin titanium and lowered on H&R springs I believe

Here’s my Car dropped on steeda progressives. 20” niche gammas with 255/35/20 +35 front on 9”. 295/35/20+40 rear on 10.5”. Debating on either spacing the front slightly or just getting 275s for the front but overall very happy with the fitment. Especially the rear.

I can't clearly see the stretch from this angle. What's the name of the forum member that sold it to you. I'll search his profile for more photos.
