Ive been fighting these issues for over a year. All brand and even oem diff parts.

I picked up another car today (personal, non bmr car) that is a PP car....so I can beat on it with the MT82 to further my ability to support my customers. Ive got some great ideas already and I hope they will come to life through BMR.

At the current time....I do have upgraded bolts. I spent alot of time figuring them out, and actually have people out testing them....with big power on stock diff bushings to put them to the test.

Im on a horrible cell phone right now....so I cant post much more, but I'll hop on tomorrow with more info.

Ivan did you look at the other side of the broken off bolt to see if any of it is sticking out of the tab that it's screwed into? Maybe use a small mirror to check for treads sticking out of the tab on the back side.

Left hand drill bit might help get it out.

Here's what the other side looks like. I thought about removing the halfshaft for better access, but I don't think I could get a drill in there. I probed it on this end and the bolt is about 1/4'' inside.

That side is just a vent, not even threaded. Your best bet is to drop the subframe and try to use an easy out. Past that, load it up and take it to a machine shop and they can fix it.

I sawzalled my welded on H-pipe to remove my exhaust, unbolted the driveshaft at the diff, and disconnected the brake components from the subframe today. Next weekend, I'll continue by dropping the whole subframe and later removing the differential.

I need to come up with a list of replacement parts. I look forward to seeing what info BMR posts about this subject. I want an overbuilt cradle.

Unfortunately, I found my rear shock piston and body nearest the side of the sheared differential bolt to be oily. I guess it blew out on the mega hop. The other side is okay.

Ok, so for those of us running the exact same setup i am concerned. What is the solution to fix this? I'd rather fix now than wait till im broken down on the road with my 4 year old in Arizona heat. Not the first I've heard of this.

We are screwed. LOL. I have the same kit. Looks like BMR is on top of this issue. Credit card is ready.

There is no concern whatsoever. Severe axile hop due to other reasons will rip things apart. That's why there been limited failures with stock bolts and other kits on the market. You have to put control in the right places and set up the vehicle properly to eliminate axile hop.
