Adding HP Spoiler

I tried searching but can’t come up with anything that I see. I’m sure somebody here has done it but I could be wrong. Has anybody added the HP spoiler onto a non HP Mach 1. Was there any extra drilling needed or did it go right into the original holes. Just wondering before I go further.

If you have the mini base spoiler there is no drilling. All holes are already there even for the alignment pins.

I added the the HP spoiler to my non-HP. I was getting full PPF so the tech just put it on after the PPF set. He said it was a direct fit and only took him about 20 minutes to install. I went with the Steeda version and no issues. Looks so much better in my humble opinion.

I know the one I am looking at is gloss black but am I correct to say the one that came on your HP is not gloss but a more matte look and not as shiny?

Should be a bolt on. Same concept / fitment as all the videos posted with GTs etc.

One thing to note, the factory (HP and non HP both) spoilers are painted a matte magnetic metallic to match the mirror caps, wheels, etc. Basically any aftermarket version (and the OEM ford performance equivalent) is going to come gloss black. If matching is important, you'll have to have it painted.

I don’t have a Mach but I assume the mounting holes are all the same. Didn’t have to drill any holes, the FP Swing uses all the existing. Here’s a pic of mine after I removed the lip spoiler so you can see all the different holes used.
