I own a 15. One bottle per oil change here. It does quieten down engine sounds.
In my experience with both, Liqui moly MoS2 > Ceratec

I tried mos2 and it didnt do anything I could notice. Ceratec fixed my tapping and I had one of the worst ticks ive heard. What did you notice from mos2?

I don't have the tick, but MoS2 quieted my engine considerably. Very noticeable under load on the highway. Ceratec on the next oil change was louder in mine.

+1

On topic- '17 and one bottle of ceratec. I'd uee as little as needed to eliminate the tick.

Has anyone tried the nano additive? Curious to hear about its results.

I put Ceratec in my car and it immediately sounded like a box of marbles. The horrible, horrible sounds in the top end continued until I got the oil changed. It now sounds normal again. I noticed zero benefits except the ability to sound like a hoopty about to chuck a rod any second.

you must be joking... What oil did you have in there? Were you massively over filled?

Just the regular 5W-20 motorcraft stuff. Everything went back to normal after two back to back oil changes but the noise was obnoxious. All in the heads it sounded like.

You’re the one car on the planet, I guess. Did you shake it up before adding it?

Not the only one that has had noise result from adding the ceramic slushie, no. I didn't say it damaged anything it just made noise and was annoying.

Glad it didn’t damage anything. Just first time I’ve ever heard of it making noise

Why did you use it in the first place, was your car making noise before using it? I dont believe ceratec could even cause the noise you are describing.

Not doubting you. But when I researched Ceratec I came across Zero posts saying anything like this happened.

Quick question on it's use.. I have about 1400 miles before my next oil change. Should I wait till I change my oil to add it or is 1400 miles enough to coat everything?

I'd do one bottle now and also one bottle on next change.
